Last week was our first Stampin' Up! meeting of the New Year. I organize this bi-monthly meeting for the Stampin' Up demonstrators on my team.
We gather together to stamp, talk a little business, eat, swap, socialize and share. As we do all that, there is always plenty of laughs. Most of these ladies have never met, but by the end of the night, we all feel like good friends. Its so cool how that works.
Many of these woman met at a #1 Stampers Meeting and have become close friends and even best friends. I love when that happens. We all share a passion for crafting and especially stamping and we totally "get" one another.
Here's a photo of some of us. Yes, my head it cut out of the photo. It was just a little too close for comfort...
But everyone else looks great!
Here's one of the gorgeous Make n Takes that we did that night.
This was designed by the very talented Amy Deems. I'm totally in love with this card.
We used Timeless Textures and Botanical Blooms from the Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog.
The colors were crushed curry, sahara sand, smoky slate, basic grey and whisper white.
We added some shimmer with the Wink of Stella brush, in clear, on some of the petals.
In addition to this and two other make n takes, there was an awesome step card demo by Darlene Nanni and a cool "card fold" demo that I shared and will post later.
I love my #1 Stampers- they are some of the most talented women I know!
I hope you enjoyed a little peek into our super special and fabulously fun meetings.
Keep On Stampin' and Come back again soon!
