Its a brand new year and the beginning of Kim's Card Class 2016. All the cards made at this months class are from the new Stampin Up Occasions Catalog 2016. I was so excited to start the new year off with many of my favorite stampers.
I really look forward to card class each month. We always have a great time stamping and visiting. These ladies are so much fun to be around and really are so sweet!
Sherree and Rebekah even wore coordinating outfits to match the cards they made tonight. Aren't they just adorable?
Here's Michelle, Kristin and Sharen showing off their works of art.
And the dynamic duo, Connie and Randy, lovin' the teacup card.
Here's a card we made with the super cute new set called Party Wishes. Did you notice the new Confetti Impressions emboss folder? It has an oval in the middle so that something can be stamped there- like a cute birthday cake. I used sponge daubers and three different inks, mint macron, crushed curry and melon mambo to sponge over the raised embossed images. And how about the coordinating punches? For this card I used the balloon. The Party Punch Pack also comes with a mini cupcake and candles.
Not only does this card have cute little "Its My Party" enamel dots that I attached to the balloons that I punched out, but it has a fun surprise inside too!
This is Stampin Up's new Party Pop Up thinlit dies. Shut the front door- I love it!
The second card we made at class uses the Birthday Blooms stamp set and Birthday Bouquet designer paper. The colors are so soft and pretty. I cut a slit 1/2 way down on the designer paper and folded it back to make a peek a boo window.
I colored the flower with a blender pen, dipped in the lid of an inkpad. Using the colors, watermelon wonder, and old olive. A bit of shimmer was added with my favorite new toy from the new Occasions Catalog- the Wink of Stella brush in clear.
Card 3- Bloomin' Love. A card for Valentines Day, or a birthday, thinking of you or just about any general occasion.
The last card was a tea cup card. Because you know I love this set, " A Nice Cuppa" from the Occasions catalog. I made many cards from this set already- I just can't get enough of it! The colors on this card are bermuda bay, pool party and wisteria wonder. I think they coordinate so nicely together. Don't you just love the dainty little spoon? Its from the Cup and Kettle framlit set- so, so cute. We used the Curvy Corner Trio punch to do all the corners on each color of cardstock, so that everything was matchy, matchy.
That wraps up the January Card Class. I'm already looking forward to the next one and seeing these ladies again.
Thanks to all who attended tonight. I'm so blessed by your friendship and so happy to get to spend some stampin' time with you each month.
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
