Tea for two and two for tea. Each morning I start the day with a cup of green tea. I've been drinking a lot of tea lately, especially green tea, because of its health benefits. I love waking up in the morning and sitting down with a hot cup of tea before I begin my day.
When I saw this new stamp set in the New Stampin Up, Occasions Catalog, I just had to order it. My mind start imagining all the possibilities with this set. This set also has a coordinating framelit set called Cups and Kettle. Oh my gosh, I couldn't wait to use it!
This is the first card that I made. I love the colors that were used on this card - Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay inks, cardstock and designer paper. It makes the card so bright and cheerful. I wish I had real tea cups in all of these colors.
Here you can see how I used crystal effects to highlight the designs on the cups. The designs are actually part of the Cups and Kettle framelit set.
Check out the pearl jewel detail. So dainty.
All of the designer paper comes from the Have A Cuppa paper pack which coordinates beautifully with this set.
I think its time for another cuppa tea. I'll be posting a couple more cards from this set in the next few days.
I'm hoping these cups of crisp, cool colors brightened your day and inspired your creativity today.
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
