Stampin Up Oh So Eclectic

I have a cool card to share with you that we made at Card Class this week. Its made with the Oh So Eclectic Bundle.

This is the stamp set that is featured on the front of the New Stampin' Up Catalog. Its one of my favorites.
This set paired with the Eclectic Layer Thinlits and the coordinating Naturally Eclectic designer paper, is a real show stopper.

IMG_7215

This was a favorite of all the cards at class. It was very simple and super cool. I layed a piece of designer paper behind the die cut image. It think it kind of looks like stained glass.

IMG_7217

I used peek a boo peach and berry burst inks to match the designer paper. I also used soft sky and tranquil tide cardstock which also matched the paper. I love how beautiful those colors look together. And so super simple to make.

IMG_7216

Well, thats all for now folks. I'll be leaving on the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to Thailand next week and I won't have my laptop.

I'll be posting again before I leave, but I'll be off the grid for a couple of weeks.

Thanks for dropping by today.

Until the next time...

Stampin Up Coffee Cafe Bundle

So, I was playing around with this set, trying to think of something unique to do with it. I didn't really come up with anything spectacular, but I do think it turned out pretty cute. Maybe when I have more time to experiment, I can do some really fun stuff, like maybe make the lid out of acrylic sheets or something cool like that.

I do really like the colors- soft sky, crumb cake and early espresso. Blue and brown shades always look so complimentary together, don't you think?

IMG_7200

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the new Garden Trellis emboss folder, but I actually love it! I used it twice here. Once forward and once backward. I like the way it looks both ways. I added Wink of Stella to the whipped cream - its so shimmery and shiny.

IMG_7201

I think I use the Glitter Enamel Dots on just about everything. How can I not? They are so pretty! I added one to the knot on the crumb cake ribbon.

Makes me want to make a Starbucks run... it looks so yummy!

I hope you enjoyed my Coffee Cafe card. I can't wait to make more coffee cards with this fun bundle!

Thanks for stopping by.

Stampin' Up! Lemon Zest is the Best!

I've been working on swaps, and my card classes and workshops this past week. I've got sooooo much to do in my stampin up world right now, I don't know when I'll finally catch up- but hopefully soon!

I'm sharing one of the cards that I made for the Stampin' Up Leaders Swap. You all know I love fruit stamps, and this one is no exception. Its called Lemon Zest and it also comes in a bundle with the Lemon Builder Punch. I'm having fun using all kinds of bright colors with this set. Two of the colors are the new "In Colors" lemon lime twist and berry burst. They are YUMMY!

IMG_5521

I also used daffodil delight ink on the lemons. A fold of crushed curry mini chevron ribbon and a couple of ombre Glitter enamel dots to give this card the extra "pop" appeal.

IMG_5522

Here's a small bunch- getting ready to be mailed out to the other leaders.

IMG_5519

Well, back to work. I've got to get all my stampin' projects finished before I leave on my trip!

Thanks for checking in today.

Until the next time...

Stampin' Up! Swap and Incentive Trip documents

I received a long awaited packet in the mail last week. It was our flight itinerary, luggage tags, passport case and agenda for the Stampin' Up! All Expense Paid Trip for Two to Thailand!

I'm so excited to be traveling with my daughter on this trip. Total girl time! We have also decided to stop in NYC and Beijing China on our way to Thailand.

Lots of planning and packing to do to get ready- but it will be worth it.

My passport case all wrapped in the new pretty peek a boo peach ribbon.

IMG_5448

And inside is all the goodies. Aren't those elephant luggage tags adorable? We get new luggage tags each trip, depending on the destination and the theme of the trip.

IMG_5451

During the trip, Stampin' Up! sponsors an optional card swap. I decided to use the new Climbing Orchid stamp set and dies.

I think this is such a gorgeous stamp set. I haven't decided yet, if this will be the actual swap. I may tweak it here and there or change the colors or layout. I haven't quite decided - but I am loving creating many beautiful orchids with it, for sure.

  IMG_5515

I used peek a boo peach and berry burst cardstock and inks for the flowers and lemon lime twist for the leaves. Its a simple "protoype" right now.

Here's a close up: Notice the fabulous Glitter Enamel dots. Love those sparkly things!

IMG_5516

I'll be sure to post the finished swap before I leave. It may be similar to this one or I may just change the entire card. Who knows? But I am enjoying this set so very much!

Thanks for stopping by.

Until the next time...

Daisy Delight - Super Colorful and Fun

This card that I am sharing today was made with the Daisy Delight bundle. The bundle comes with the stamp set and the coordinating Daisy Punch. One thing that I want to mention is that only the stamp set is available right now. The Bundle and the Punch will be available on June 26th.

This is a great set to play around with. And it looks great in any color that you pair it with. I decided to go with melon mambo, calypso coral and lemon lime twist. I love bright colors, so this was so fun to create and it makes me happy to use all these super colorful inks and cardstocks.

IMG_5400

On this card, I used the Stampin white chalk marker to make stitched lines around the basic black cardstock. Makes it pop a little bit.

IMG_5406

Here's a close up of the detail- the black metallic thread and the new Clear Fauceted Gems. I also used the Brushstrokes background stamp in Lemon Lime Twist ink. I am a big fan of background stamps and I own every one that we carrry!

IMG_5404

This stamp set has so many darling images, I had to try to use them all. So, of course I added some fun stamping on the inside of the card. As you can see I used the basic black cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 as the base of the card and used the whisper white (10 1/2 x 4) as the actual card. Kind of a neat variation to the basic card.

IMG_5407

This one I used the basic black bakers twine instead of the black metallic thread, behind the flower image.

IMG_5403

Here's the whole fabulous bunch. The brighter the colors, the happier it makes me!

Wood Words Variation

I have a quick post on a simple variation of the Wood Words stamp set that I used on my previous blog post. I used the same card fold and colors as well as the same two stamp sets, Wood Words and Label Me Pretty.

I only changed a few things to make this card look a little different.

IMG_5435

I added the beautiful cluster of flowers from the Wood Words set in crumb cake ink and I also used the new Wood Textures designer paper stack.

IMG_5436

The same simple Z fold- you can check out the blog post previous to this one for the measurements and tips.

IMG_5437

I also used very vanilla cardstock on the inside of this one.

IMG_5434

Thought I'd share this one with you, as you can basically use all the same supplies.

I just received my box full of more new Stampin Up stamps and accessories, so I will be playing with my goodies tonight.

Stay tuned for some new creations coming soon!

Thanks again for stopping by.
