Fox Builder Punch

Valentines Day Cards

I promised to post some of the Valentines that I made and that I received from other demonstrators around the country. I hosted and was part of a few swaps with several of my demonstrator friends and I received some really great cards.

I've picked out some of my favorites to share with you. I will post a few today and a few tommorrow.

The first one is made by Tonya Beatty. Tonya is a very talented demonstrator on my team. I love how she used the tiny envelopes from the Sealed with Love Bundle. Check out the new tiny paper clips- they come in three different colors. Aren't they so cute!

This card was made by my friend, Dawn Griffith. She's one of my favorite stampers for sure. This cute card fold is everywhere- and very popular. I actually received 3 cards in my various swaps, with this same fold! I also posted a Cool Treats card with this fold last week. You can check out Dawn's blog here.

This adorable card was made by Shari Lackey. I love all the beautiful layers on this Happy Valentines Day card.

Another one of my very favorite Valentine cards, was made by Patsy Waggoner. The Sending Love designer paper, says love, love, love and I sure do love this card. Patsy actually set up my blog for me. You can click here to visit Patsy's blog.

Last but not least, I've got a valentine card that was made by me. I used Foxy Friends stamp set and the Fox Builder punch to make a sweet little raccoon for this special valentine.

I hope you enjoyed all the pretty hand stamped "love" cards. I'll post more tomorrow, so be sure to stop back.

Until then...

Stampin' Up! Foxy Friends stamp set, Converted into Ricci Raccoon!

Its hard to put this adorable stamp set down. I made Foxy Friends into little Ricci Raccoon today.

So, whats really cool is that I used the new "Diagonal Stripe" background stamp on this card and it totally looks like designer paper! I can't even tell you how much I love background stamps- I wish Stampin Up carried more of them. I own them all!

I did use "A Little Foxy" designer paper for the banner on this card- and used the Triple Banner Punch to form the banner.

I framed the raccoon with the new Layering Squares Framelits. I love how some of the squares have little scallops around them.

The colors on this card are, basic black, basic gray, real red, and smoky slate as well as whisper white cardstock. The Fox Builder Punch is so fun to use, and you can get the punch with the Foxy Friends stamp set as a bundle and save 10%. Can't be that!

I added real red stitched satin ribbon and a cute little "Enamel Shapes" heart in real red.

Isn't he a cute little raccoon? I especially love these colors together. Red, black and grays are complimentary colors and work very well on any design.

Don't forget the inside... more " A Little Foxy" designer paper inside the card. I try to use a light pattern that can easily be written on.

I hope this little critter inspired you to punch and stamp some cute critters of your own. I guarantee that you will love this adorable "bundle."

Until the next time...

Keep on Stampin' and Come Back again soon!

I have Foxy Friends

Have you seen the new "Foxy Friends" stamp set and coordinating " Fox Builder" punch?

Oh my goodness, this set is the cutest ever. Not only can we make foxes, but skunks and cats and raccoons and reindeer too.

I started out by making a gray fox for this "Congratulations" card.

Check out the adorable " A Little Foxy" designer paper. Totally cute! I used calypso coral cardstock to contrast against the smoky slate, basic black and basic gray colors of the fox.

The greeting is from the set, "Thoughtful Banners." I'm pretty sure that I use this greeting set on 90% of the cards that I make. It has everything needed in the way of greetings, and banners to boot!

I added the basic black bakers twine and topped it off with a star from the "Enamel Shapes" subtles collection.

I then added the punched pieces to the fox and attached them with glue dots to give them a slight lift and add dimension.

I love the multitude of possibilites associated with this stamp set and punch. I can't wait to make other animals with this versatile set- especially the skunk and raccoon.

And, its perfect for guys and gals. Gotta love a stamp set that accomodates both genders!

If you haven't checked out this set yet, you need to get on it. I have listed all the supplies below along with photos as usual.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Until the next time...
