Hello everyone! Today, I'm featuring a new card fold for you all to try. Its called the Triple Fold Drop Down Card.
Its really fun and pretty easy to create. I've used the Garden in Bloom, 2-step stamp set to design this unique card. The Garden in Bloom works great with this fold, because there is a nice variety of stamps in several different sizes. I used the stamps to stamp on each element of the drop down card.
Here's what it looks like from the front. Looks pretty normal, huh?
But, then when you open it... voila!
The colors I used are, peek a boo peach, calypso coral, pacific point, pear pizazz and early espresso inks. I have complete instructions on my You Tube video, attached at the end of this post. You'll find all the colors and measurements there as well.
Here's a close up of the two step stamping, which is simply, layering one stamp over another, in a different color to create dimension. Plus, I've added some tiny pearl jewels to the middle of the flowers. I love those tiny little pearls!
It's so fun to create a unique and unexpected element to a card, especially when its a creative fold!
Here's a look at the card, both opened and closed:
So, gather up your stamps, cardstock and inks, and give this unique fold a try!
I'm glad you stopped by today. I hope you learned something new.
