Glamper Greetings

Stampin' Up - Glamper Greetings for Fall

I was playing around with the "Glamper Greetings" stamp set today. If you all remember, I posted a Halloween glamper camper a week or so ago and I wanted to decorate this time for fall or Thanksgiving.

I didn't necessarily want to water color the camper or color with markers. So, I came up with a quick and easy way to color the image without spending lots of time coloring... even though I do love to color.

Its no secret that I love my stampin' sponges, so that's just exactly what I used.

Here's what I came up with:

I started by sponging all over with crushed curry ink. Then I added more fall colors. I sponged the grass with old olive, then used a little pumpkin pie in the sky, followed by cherry cobbler over the camper. I did over lap the colors a bit to blend them.

I then went back in and added some accent color with markers. I used the same colors and added a little crumb cake to the apple pie and the tire and hitch. Check out the golden sun. I punched a 1/2" circle from the gold foil sheets and attached it over the sun.

To finish it off, I used delightful dijon cardstock and embossed it with the brick emboss folder. I used a sponge brayer to sponge cajun craze ink all over the brick.

Something different. I hope you like it!

Until the next time...

Stampin Up- Sneak Peek- Glamper Greetings

So, did you all receive your copy of the New Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog? OH MY GOODNESS- it is so amazing, to say the least! This is a little sneak peek today- you'll be able to order from the new catalog on SEPTEMBER 1st.

I've been working on some swaps that I am participating in with other demonstrators all over the country. I'm sharing a Halloween card with you today.

Its from the new stamp set, "Glamper Greetings" in the Holiday Catalog. This set is so stinkin' cute. Its an all occasion camper, so its not just for Halloween.

I did some fun watercoloring with the aqua painters and the lids of the ink pads. I close the ink pad, and smoosh the lid into the ink, then open the ink pad and use the puddle of ink that is left in the lid to paint on the watercolor paper with my aqua painter.

How cute is this Glamper Camper? Check out the designer paper- its the new Halloween Nights paper. I don't know if you all can tell, but the spider web is silver- hard to see that from the photo. Plus, I used the coordinating Halloween Nights washi tape too!

I had so much fun making these cards. I love all the fun colors of Halloween - purples, oranges and greens all framed in black.

I added shine to the moon, windows and tire with the fine tip glue pen. It dries shiny and clear. The Halloween Nights enamel dot was added to the hitch to add dimension.

A bit a dazzling diamonds glitter adds sparkle to the stars.

You can see many of the other patterns of the Halloween Nights designer paper in this photo.

All finished and ready to be shipped out soon.

I'm totally loving this little camper. I can't wait to decorate it in a Christmas theme, summer theme and birthdays.

In one more week, you'll be able to get your hands on this awesome set too.

Thanks for checking out my blog today.

Until the next time...
