Nailed It

Card Class - Featuring Eastern Palace Suite

I actually remembered to take "people" pictures at class this time. Well, truth be told, Heather and Sharon reminded me or I would have missed the opportunity again.

Most everyone had finished and left, but there were a few ladies still stamping, chatting and looking over the long, 10 page retired list, trying to pick out the last "must haves" of the current catalog.

Sharon and Heather trying to decide what they cannot live without, before its gone forever.

We made this beautiful card with the stamps and framelits from the Eastern Palace Suite. This is available during the month of May only, as a Special Bundle purchase. This card uses both the Eastern Beauty stamp set and Eastern Medallion framelits. Check out the new Lemon Lime Twist "In Color." Isn't it gorgeous?

Here's a closeup of the focal point. I love that the dies can be used in over 45 different combinations.

Nikolette busy at the Big Shot, creating her masterpiece.

Here's a cute card made with one of the retiring stamp sets from the 2016-2017 Stampin Up catalog, Always an Adventure. I got this cute idea from a card that I saw on pinterest made by Erica Cerwin. I tweeked it and added a few of my own touches

I think Debbie was happy with her darling handstamped cards.

One last card to share today. Its made with the Nailed It stamp set. Simply masculine card in wild wasabi, basic black and crumb cake. Perfect for Fathers Day or that special guys birthday.

Marjie and Sharen are lending each other a helping hand to complete the final touches on the Nailed It card.

Be sure to check out the Eastern Palace Bundle below. This special will not be in the new catalog, so get it before the end of the month. Its more than amazing AND both bundles come with free gifts. Can't beat that!

Nailed It, Manly Man

Masculine cards are always something I'm in need of. I can never make enough. So, when Stampin Up released the Nailed It stamp set and coordinating dies in the Occasions Catalog, I had to have it!

I got to use all the cool manly man accessories that were made in coordination with this set, too!

I wanted this card to be clean, simple and to the point.

I used the silver foil sheets with the new Hexagons emboss folder as well as the new Urban Underground designer paper.

Check out the cool "screw" attached to the card. Its one of the Urban Underground embellishments.

Tip: If you look close you can see that I outlined the tools with the crumb cake marker, then went over it with a blender pen to give it some soft shading. The tools were stamped in early espresso, so the blender pen also softened up the darker ink as well.

This is actually a card that we made at one of my card classes. Pretty simple and very manly. Perfect for that special dude in your life.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Stampin Up Nailed It!

Nailed It is the perfect name for this manly stamp set in the new Occasions Catalog. It has a variety of tools, nuts, bolts and clever verses. This set also has a coordinating "Build It" framelit die set.

I'm always in need of a masculine card, so I was happy to see this awesome set in the new catalog.

I also used the manly "Urban Underground" designer paper on this card as well.

The colors are crumb cake, delightful dijon, early espresso and very vanilla inks and cardstocks, as well as the gold foil paper.

I stamped the tools in early espresso ink, then die cut the tools with the "Build It" framelits. I used a crumb cake marker to outline the inside of the tools, then swiped over that with a blender pen. It gives the tools some great shading and depth.

The gold foil paper looks so cool embossed with the new "Hexagons Dynamic Emboss Folder." Check out the awesome Urban Underground embellisments- they look like real bolts!

I stamped the small screws on the very vanilla backgroud with crumb cake and delightful dijon inks. Perfect "man" colors.

The greeting is actually from the "Suite Sentiments" stamp set from the Occasions catalog. I thought it worked perfectly with this card. I punched it out with the "Best Badge" punch.

I'm loving the Urban Underground designer paper in coordination with this stamp set. It blends so perfectly.

I'm hoping you like this masculine idea- I know I'm always looking for guy themed ideas for the men in my life.

Thanks for stopping by.
