Perfect Mix

Stampin' Up! Perfect Mix stamp set

Here is a card we made at card class recently. Its made with the Perfect Mix stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.

I got this idea from another demonstrator, Brian King. I liked the simplicity of the card. I did change the colors and add the star and Sparkle embossed background from the original card.

I colored the measuring spoons with dapper denim ink. I used a blender pen dipped in the lid of the dapper denim inkpad. I colored the inside of the spoons with the same color, but did them after I colored the outside of the spoons, so that the color would be softer.

I think the colors, dapper denim, cherry cobbler and delightful dijon look great with the neutral of the sahara sand ink and cardstock panel.

Quick and easy and ready to send to a favorite friend.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin Up Occasions Catalog- Perfect Mix stamp set

The Perfect Mix stamp set is so cutie pa-tootie! I went a little crazy, creating with this set today. I love the "bubble gum" colors of this card, it so mid- century.

My two favorite colors are pink and green. So, I used melon mambo and bermuda bay to capture the fun mid-century-modern look of this card.

But that's not all. Here's the second card that I made with pink pirouette, melon mambo and bermuda bay inks and cardstock. I also used a little bit of pool party cardstock to stamp the bowl on. So darling! I can't stop using the Stitched Shape Framelits. They look good no matter what I use them on.

Yep, there's a third card. Yay! I told you that I couldn't put this set down. Its just so fun! I almost used all the stamps from the Perfect Mix stamp set on this one alone! LOL.  For the first and third cards, I got to use the NEW Stampin Up Watercolor pencils. They are amazing and they coordinate with our exclusive Stampin' Up! colors. Got to love that!

I outlined each image with the colored pencils and then used the blender pen to blend the color out and give it a nice watercolor look. I added a rhinestone jewel to the melon mambo stitched ribbon for some sparkle. How appropriate, since the emboss folder that I used is called Sparkle as well!

Here's all three together.

Ok, I'll throw this one in for good measure. I used the Pop of Pink designer paper at the bottom of this card and the shiny bermuda bay sequin trim which I attached with our multi purpose glue. Dazzling Diamonds Glitter gives the ice cream/ pudding/yogurt a sugary glow. The word "sweet" is borrowed from the Cool Treats stamp set.

See, I told you that I went a little crazy with this set today. I just couldn't help myself!

I hope you enjoyed all the fun cards that I made with the adorable Perfect Mix stamps. I hope you get this set for yourself and go a little crazy with it too!
