Ready for Christmas

My Talented Team and their Fabulous Swaps and 3-D Creations

I want to share my teams swaps from our Christmas Party with you. The theme was gift packaging. Some of the girls made boxes and others did gift card holders. They were all very cute!

This adorable little gift box was made by Sue Brennan. She used the "Bella and Friends" stamp set to decorate the front of the box.

This gift card holder was made by Tauni Caylor- its got a little surprise inside... wait for it...

How cute is this?? (inside) Wait for it.....

Ta Da! Love those mittens from the "Smitten Mitten" stamp set.

Another cute gift box made with the Santa's Suit stamp set, by Teresa Fisher

Birthday packages that I made with the new Silver Gable boxes from the upcoming Occasions Catalog 2018.

This is the coolest gift card holder... Its a "zipper card" made by Lori Wiest. Pull the tab and it unzips the card to reveal a gift card inside. I don't have instructions, but I'm sure it can be "googled."

We have so much talent on our #1 Stampers team. Speaking of talent, Heidi Carr brought some of her fabulous creations to share with us that night. Take a look at some of these over the top, amazing cards that Heidi made.

#1 Stampers Team Christmas Party & a Sneak Peek

We had such a great time last weekend at our #1 Stampers team party. I love getting together with my team and enjoying each others company. We also did a little bit of stamping and swapping as well as exchanged some amazing hand stamped gifts!

We played a cute grab bag game to determine who got which gift.

Notice the little tag on Teresa's gift? Its a darling little panda from a new Sale a Bration set coming in January!

Teresa received some chocolate and some beautifully stamped Christmas cards, made by Lori Wiest.

These are a few of the cards that Lori Wiest made for her gift exchange:

Kathy's gift came wrapped in this gorgeous stamped paper by Sue Brennan.

The amazing work of art that was inside that pretty paper.... Sue Brennan really out did herself creating the awesome gift!

Darlene Christian was the artist that designed these matching coasters and candles for the lucky recipient.

I designed this gift bag with punched red glimmer paper circles and a tag made with the Tags and Trimmings stamp set. I didn't make a hand stamped gift, however, inside were stamps and goodies from the upcoming NEW Occasions Catalog!

We played some super fun games and had a snowball fight to win prizes. I think this was the favorite game that night.

I also had the girls tear a Christmas Tree behind their backs. The best tree won a prize. I also gave a prize to the tree that wasn't the best ;) Here are some of the trees. Unfortunately neither the best or worst trees are in this photo. Not sure where they ran off to...

We also had a cool make n take with a new stamp set and accessories from the soon to be released Occasions Catalog 2018.

Lori is assembling her cute card before our next game.

This set is called Bubble Over and you'll be able to order it in January. Check out the designer paper, the new sequin emboss folfder, the clear bubbles and the self adhesive sequins- yes, you'll be able to order those soon too!

Such a wonderful night with these fun and fabulous women. I'll have the swaps and some amazing cards to share later this week, so be sure to check back.

Until the next time...

Stampin Up "Ready for Christmas" Card with a Fun Fold

This is another fun fold for a cute Christmas card using the new Ready for Christmas stamp set. Ready for Christmas, comes with a coordinating framelit bundle, however, I only used the stamps to create this card.

I also used the brand spanking new Stampin Blends alcohol markers! Oh how I love these awesome pens!

The designer series paper is from the Be Merry 12 x 12 paper pack and the cardstock colors are whisper white, cherry cobbler and pear pizazz.

When using the Stampin' Blends markers, the Tuxedo Black Memento pad is a must. It is designed to work with alcohol markers. Can you see how well shaded and blended these markers make my image look? They are so easy and effortless to use.

Here's a closer look at the fun Z fold of the card. This fold was very simple to create. I folded the  4 1/4" x 11" cherry cobbler cardstock in half. Then I folded the front flap of the card, back up to the fold. So, I actually just folded the front flap in half to meet the side fold of the card.

Here's another angle of the Z fold card.

There are so many stamps and dies in this adorable stamp set and coordinating framelit set that the possibilities really are endless!

Stampin' Up - Ready for Christmas Bundle

I was happy to finally get my hands on this set and get some stamping time in. I've had this set since it was given to us on the Thailand Incentive Trip and I'm just now getting to use it!

Oh, the possibilities with this bundle- Ready for Christmas comes with 20 stamps and the coordinating Christmas Staircase thinlits have 20 dies. So many choices and so much fun to create different Christmas scenes with the huge variety of images.

I decided on a pink and green color scheme, since those are my most favorite colors. I used a combination of dies and stamps for this darling Christmas tree and packages scene.

The lighting wasn't the best, but the colors were lemon lime twist, pink pirouette, silver foil sheets, melon mambo, flirty flamingo and wild wasabi. I love all the dimension of the pines and bulbs. A mini dimensional holds the silver glimmer paper star on the top of the tree.

Can you see the gloss on the bulbs and packages? I used the fine tip glue pen to add dimension and shine. It dries clear and shiny and not sticky!

A peek at the cute little gift on the inside...

Here's another view of the dimension of the pines, bulbs and packages.

I colored the gifts an bulbs with the Stampin' Write Markers. They give the images a more saturated color.  An Aquapainter dipped in smoky slate re-inker, makes a nice splattered backdrop for my Christmas tree.

The melon mambo and lemon lime twist just tickle me pink! I love these two colors together. Kind of an off spring of real red and old olive traditional Christmas colors.

Lots of sparkle and lots of fun bubble gum colors for the holidays. I hope you enjoyed my fun and glimmery Christmas card.

Until the next time...

Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
