I needed to take a break from making Christmas cards, so I'm bringing it back to fall. I've been loving the copper foil and thread and was aching to use it again. Its just so pretty! I'm going to be really sad when the copper foil paper is discontined at the end of the year.
Fall colors are still in the air, here in western Pa. So, I gathered up some pretty fall colored inks and went to town.
I stamped the tree in early espresso ink, and used a sponge dauber to daub the various colors of ink onto the leaves of the tree. I used lightest to darkest... crushed curry, old olive, cajun craze, and cherry cobbler inks.
Ooh, la, la... the colors are so regal and rich in tone- just like fall. The copper foil paper makes a nice frame for this gorgeous tree.
Simple and to the point on the inside as well, using cajun craze cardstock and early espresso ink.
The copper foil paper catches the light so gloriously.
Here you can see the copper thread and the Woodgrain emboss folder that I used on the chocolate chip cardstock.
The warm wonderful colors of autumn. Makes me want to jump in a big pile of fallen leaves!
Thanks again for taking a look at my stamped art today.
Until the next time...
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
