Stampin' Up! Events

Stampin Up In Vegas, Part 2: Plus a few Sneak Peeks!

I left off with our fun make up session at Sephora in Las Vegas. It was perfect, because from there I was ready to attend the special Centre Stage event for Stampin' Up Leaders.

It was an 80's theme. I didn't dress up because of packing restraints, but all the SU employees did and some of the demonstrators.

IMG_1367

Arent they adorable?

IMG_1424

Thats Brandi above and below, from SU demonstrator training and my friend Robyn- who both look totally rad in their 80's garb.

IMG_1452

It was a fun night of training, dinner, gifts and getting the new Catalog!

IMG_1421

The next day was the main Stampin Up On Stage event. Lots more training, making new friends and stamping of course!

IMG_1453

Stampin Up is also celebrating their 30 year Anniversary this year, so there were lots of fun surprises in store.

IMG_1369

It just so happens to be my 20 year Anniversary as well! This is me on stage for my 20 year anniversary recognition.

IMG_1580

This is Raelene and I in front of the beautiful SU backdrop. This is Stampin' Up's new branding/logo. Aren't those flowers and colors beautiful?

IMG_E1547

This is our table, getting ready to stamp the day away- with new products!

IMG_1576

Here's a few "sneak peek" boards to get you excited about whats coming in June!

Stampin Up events are always so inspiring and tons of fun. We ended our trip by visiting some of the amazing Las Vegas hotels on the strip.

The Venetian

IMG_1605

The Wynn

IMG_1616

The Palazzo

IMG_1610

The Bellagio

IMG_1636

The Bellagio Fountains with Ballys and the High Roller ferris wheel in the background. The High Roller is a huge ferris wheel- each car holds up to 40 people! It takes 1/2 hour to go the whole way around.

IMG_1648

The Lobby of the Bellagio. The beautiful flowers on the ceiling are Chihuly glass.

IMG_1639

The Fashion Show Mall. Of course we had to do a little shopping while we were there.

IMG_1618

Paris

IMG_1635

Ok, one more sneak peek. This is one of the stamp sets we got in our convention bags. Don't you just love it?

IMG_1533

And on our last day... this is what we did... ahhhh... a perfect end to a perfect trip!

Stampin Up On Stage Conference Event

I'm back from a whirl wind few days in Las Vegas. I attended the Stampin Up mini convention over the weekend and it was amazing. I had a few set backs since I arrived home on Monday, but I think everything is starting to fall into place now. If I could only catch up on some much needed sleep.... but thats another story for another time. Lol.

I wanted to share a few pictures of our fabulous few days. Stampin Up really does great events and this was no exception. So many fabulous new things on the horizon and we learned so much!

This is the hotel that the Stampin Up On Stage Las Vegas event was held. The Rio hotel was really beautiful.

IMG_1659

My friend, Raelene and I flew in early to do some touristy things before the Stampin Up event. I forgot that the airport had slot machines! I talked to a few locals and they said that slot machines are everywhere- even the grocery store!

IMG_1278

We did some shopping and took in a show on our first day. It was fun because we got to go to the Mirage to see the show. Its such a gorgeous hotel. The shows at all the hotels are always advertised on all the buildings, just like this.

IMG_1283

Here we are in the tropical lobby, right before the show.

IMG_E1287

We saw the Beatles "Love" Cirque Du Soleil. Gotta have some snacks for the show...

IMG_1294

So many amazing performers.

IMG_1314

IMG_1570

Cool skateboarders.

IMG_1317

IMG_1339

We did a little shopping at the Venetian as well as Ceasars the next day. I think this hotel is so pretty. I was here a few years ago and it still makes my jaw drop.

IMG_1342

These are the shops inside. It actually looks and feels like you are outside because there is a sky painted on the ceiling.

IMG_1345

And of course the famous gondolas.

IMG_1605

We even had our make up done at Sephora. We didn't plan it- it just worked out that way. I guess they were having a promotion and we just happened to be there at the right time. It was actually great, because I had a special Stampin Up Centre Stage dinner to attend that night, and my make up looked perfect!

IMG_1360

They even decided to fix up our hair. They were so sweet and such a great make up team.

IMG_1357

Raelene and her make up artist. She looked even more beautiful than she normally does... if thats possible.

IMG_E1364

And me and my sweet make up artist. So glad she made me look presentable for my Stampin Up dinner.

IMG_1366

My blog is ready to post so I must sign off now. I will be blogging about the actual SU event, next, so come back and read all about it!

Until the next time...

Bubbling Over with Happiness

I almost forgot to share one of the cute cards that we made during the Stampin' Up Convention in SLC.

Its made with the Bubble Over stamp set and coordinating Bottles and Bubbles framelit dies.

This is a super cute set, with tons of stamps and even more dies, to create a whole bunch of cool possibilities.

How cool is this set??

IMG_1788

Do you know what else is great about this set? The coordinating Bubbles and Fizz designer paper, can be yours, FREE with a $50 order. In fact, during Sale a Bration, for every $50 you spend, you'll get to choose something for FREE out of the Sale a bration Brochure! *Click on the Sale a Bration brochure on my sidebar, to view.

How about that straw? Its part of the framelit set as well. Those awesome glitter "bubbles" are the new Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes in the new Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog. Perfect for pop bottle "fizz."

IMG_1790

I can't wait to make more fun and unique cards with this set and with the Bubbles and Fizz paper. I'll be sure to share my creations with you too!

A Couple of shares from the Stampin Up Convention

I have two projects that I forgot to share with you. I made these during the Stampin Up Convention Make n Take event.

The first card is made with the Petal Palette stamp set. The designer paper on this card is called Petal Passion and its all black and white patterns. However, we colored in some of the images on the paper with a calypso coral Stampin Write marker to match the bird and cardstock. This way, we can make it any color we want!

IMG_1792

I love the layout and the layering on this card and also the little details, like the Petal Passion silver flower and leaf embellishments, tucked within the layers of the card.

IMG_1794

Here's one more project for you. A couple of darling little tags made with the Fruit Basket stamp set and coordinating punches.

Of course, I LOVE the tiny little pineapples! I can't wait to make them PINK!

IMG_1796

The punches are so cute - theres also a strawberrry and a citrus slice (the hole in the top of the tag is actually punched with the citrus slice) as well as the pear and pineapple punches. The Tutti Frutti designer paper is new too. These patterns are subtle, but there are so many bright and fruity patterns as well, in this package.

Thanks for visiting today.

Until the next time...

#1 Stampers Team Christmas Party & a Sneak Peek

We had such a great time last weekend at our #1 Stampers team party. I love getting together with my team and enjoying each others company. We also did a little bit of stamping and swapping as well as exchanged some amazing hand stamped gifts!

We played a cute grab bag game to determine who got which gift.

IMG_E2093

Notice the little tag on Teresa's gift? Its a darling little panda from a new Sale a Bration set coming in January!

IMG_E2034

Teresa received some chocolate and some beautifully stamped Christmas cards, made by Lori Wiest.

IMG_E2035

These are a few of the cards that Lori Wiest made for her gift exchange:

IMG_E2036

IMG_E2037

IMG_E2039

Kathy's gift came wrapped in this gorgeous stamped paper by Sue Brennan.

IMG_2043
The amazing work of art that was inside that pretty paper.... Sue Brennan really out did herself creating the awesome gift!

IMG_2044

Darlene Christian was the artist that designed these matching coasters and candles for the lucky recipient.

IMG_2056

I designed this gift bag with punched red glimmer paper circles and a tag made with the Tags and Trimmings stamp set. I didn't make a hand stamped gift, however, inside were stamps and goodies from the upcoming NEW Occasions Catalog!

IMG_E2052

We played some super fun games and had a snowball fight to win prizes. I think this was the favorite game that night.

IMG_E2079

IMG_E2076

I also had the girls tear a Christmas Tree behind their backs. The best tree won a prize. I also gave a prize to the tree that wasn't the best ;) Here are some of the trees. Unfortunately neither the best or worst trees are in this photo. Not sure where they ran off to...

IMG_2092

We also had a cool make n take with a new stamp set and accessories from the soon to be released Occasions Catalog 2018.

Lori is assembling her cute card before our next game.

IMG_2066

This set is called Bubble Over and you'll be able to order it in January. Check out the designer paper, the new sequin emboss folfder, the clear bubbles and the self adhesive sequins- yes, you'll be able to order those soon too!

IMG_2012

IMG_2013

IMG_2014

Such a wonderful night with these fun and fabulous women. I'll have the swaps and some amazing cards to share later this week, so be sure to check back.

Stampin Up Convention- Part 4- More Swaps, Friends and Fun & Maybe a Sneak Peek

Attending the Stampin Up Convention is not only a great way to learn and create, but its also so much fun, hanging with my team and friends from all over the world.

This year, my team and I wore our Pink Pineapple Paper Crafts t-shirts to the opening session. Many groups do the same and dress in their team outfits. Gretchen, Lori and Kathy definitely look pretty in pink, don't you think?

IMG_0717

We loved hanging out with our friends from the Aloha state. They are always so friendly and fun and bring a ray of sunshine along with them.

IMG_1060

We of course enjoyed swapping with them and my friend, Linda Bauwins team- here's a look at all the gorgeous swaps from our Warm and Fuzzy Breakfast party.

IMG_1769

There are always tons of sample boards and such great techniques and art to absorb. Lori was blown away with her first Convention and all the amazing ideas and techniques.

IMG_0743

Catching up with my team and enjoying a dinner or two together is always a highlight. Here we are at The Roof Restuarant overlooking Temple Square in SLC, Utah.

IMG_0644

Meeting up with my demonstrator friends is something I really look forward to, as I only get to see them once or twice a year. This is my friend Robyn from Utah- we go way back- we are Stampin Up Advisory Board sisters.

IMG_0663

A fun group of friends from the East Coast to the Pacific - Me, Cindy, Linda, Mary Ellen and Tami.

IMG_0925

Of course there are always prizes and gifts. Check out the "all attendee" give away- hint: its a sneak peek from the New Occasions Catalog 2018!

IMG_1040

The excitement of the crowd and the energy is contageous.

IMG_0669

There was also a special dinner, entertainment and training for some of us. Kim, Cindy, Meg and Missy are the sweetest!

IMG_E0696

I was so happy that my downline Kathy was able to attend this special Centre Stage event with me this year.

IMG_0995

Gifts- did I mention all the gifts that I hauled home? Wow, its always fun to unpack all of this joy! Can you see the new stamp sets that are coming in January???

IMG_1766

That wasn't all. This year, after Convention, my friends, Lynsay, Meg and Cindy flew to NYC to celebrate Megs birthday. Here we are at the top of the Freedom Tower, tallest building in the country... 1776 ft high. It was a great ending to a fabulous Stampin' Up! friends trip.

IMG_1521

More sneak peeks of the upcoming Occasions Catalog 2018 coming soon!
