Stamping Meetings

Christmas Cards by My Talented Team

I wanted to share some of the swaps that my team created for our #1 Stampers Meeting swap this month.

These ladies are so talented and creative. I love seeing their fabulous designs each month and look forward to seeing what they will come up with.

This amazing swap was made by the uber talented Mary Ann Hazlett. She is so good at fine details and 3D projects. This card was made with the Hearts Come Home bundle in the Holiday Catalog.

Here's a look at it opened:

This beauty is by Tonya Beatty. Tonya makes such delicate and pretty cards, with a unique twist. I always love seeing her wonderful ideas.

Here's a cute little card by a cute little teammate- Teresa Fisher. I like the simple and fun nature of this card. This card was made with the Merry Cafe stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.

IMG_0281

The Christmas Quilt bundle is a favorite of mine and this card shows exactly why I love it. Tina DeSalvo made this colorful and and cute Christmas card that would be perfect to send to friends and family this holiday season.

IMG_0280

And last by not least, one of my favorite stamp set bundles, ever- Night in Bethlehem. This gorgeous card was made by Sue Brennan. I adore the colors that Sue used and how she made them pop, by sponging around the edges with the elegant eggplant ink. So pretty!

I hope you enjoyed all these beautifully made cards, by some of my incredibly talented team members.

Stampin' Up! Night In Bethlehem- Beauty in Blue

I think this just may be my favorite of all favorites, in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. The more I use it, the more I love it.

The Night of Bethlehem stamp set and Bethlehem Edgelit dies were used for this monochromatic-ish Christmas card. I decided on all blue colors in different shades to keep it subtle and serene.

I used soft sky, marina mist and dapper denim inks from dark to light as I shadowed each set of buildings one over the next. I got this idea from the sample in the Holiday catalog, where the artist used the same shadowing, only with different colors.

IMG_0074

I paired the blue colors with silver glimmer paper and silver foil sheets to not only, compliment, but blend with the subtle hues of blue.

IMG_0087

I started with dapper denim, then stamped next in marina mist and finally, soft sky ink. The cut out images were attached with dimensionals.

IMG_0075

I wanted to stamp the images on soft sky cardstock to give it a softer background and not so bold as if I were to stamp it on a whisper white background. However, I did use whisper white on the inside of the card for a nice crisp background for the inside verse.

IMG_0086

A few sparkles were added to the sky with the rhinestone jewels and ombre glitter enamel dots. We made this card at my team meeting and a close version of this same card at my card class last week.

I think everyone enjoyed using this gorgeous stamp set as much as I did!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sneak Peek- Painted Harvest

I'm sharing one of my favorites from the New Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog with you today. Its called "Painted Harvest."

First of all, its a stamp set with sunflowers, so right off the bat, I was in love with it.

Its the perfect fall flower and one of my favorites.

IMG_9322

This card was a make n take at my last team meeting. I received this set on the Thailand trip, so I did'nt have the coordinating Leaf Punch that comes in the bundle. We were given the Everyday Label punch on the trip as well, and I thought it also worked great with this set.

IMG_9323

I love the bright, sunny yellows - daffodil delight and crushed curry. Coupled with the chocolate chip ink, it really pops.

Here's a photo of the coordinating Painted Autumn designer paper- we made these cards on the Thailand trip and I posted it last month, maybe you remember it.

#1 Stampers Meeting, Make n Takes & Team Swaps

One of my favorite things about my Stampin Up business is getting together and stamping with friends, especially my downline team members. We share business tips, stamping ideas, swaps and also have yummy snacks and fun door prizes during our get togethers.

This month Teresa Fisher shared a make n take project with us using the Magical Mermaid stamp set. Her sample was gorgeous. Unfortunately I messed mine up and ended up coming home and having to re-do my card. However, I did use the same colors and cardstocks of Teresas and I loved the colors she chose. Bermuda bay, berry burst and tempting turquoise. The colors really look magical together.

IMG_9146

It was Teresas idea to color the ends of the hair in bermuda bay. How cool is that? I love it!

This is a photo of some of my team from the meeting that night. I remembered to get a photo after most of the girls had already left. Next time, I will have to tie a string around my finger or something, so I remember to get photos early. By the way, that's cute little Teresa to the left of me, in the white sweater.

IMG_9139

I also wanted to take time to share of few of the amazing swaps that the girls created. The theme was fall cards and the girls did a fabulous job as usual.

New Stamp Set Sneak Peek & #1 Stampers Meeting Peeks!

My #1 Stampers team meeting was a few days ago. I always look forward to these get togethers with all the amazing and fun women on my team. We meet, chat, stamp, swap and eat. What could be better than that?

This month, my friend Kris Benkeser volunteered to do a demonstration on little girl dress up cards. Kris used the Layering Circle and Layering oval framelits as well as the New Stitched Shapes framelits, to design these sweet dresses. They were so adorable. I have a photo, but its not the best. Trust me these are so much cuter in person.

IMG_4450

It was Kris's first time ever to do a demonstration. She did an amazing job!

IMG_4471

Here's two more:

IMG_4451

We had so many great swaps as well as a few great make n takes and a NEW "In Color" book mark chart that we created that night.

Here's a look at the oh so pretty make n take designed by Kathy Sullivan. She used the Timeless Textures stamp set on this card, with some dazzling diamonds glitter applied to the middle of the flowers to sparkle it up.

IMG_4470

So, two of the Make n Takes that I designed were made with new stamp sets that will be debuted in the NEW Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Catalog! I will share one of them with you now. This card is made with the Eastern Palace stamp set suite. And I have some good news for you.... It will be available for Pre Order on May 1st! So, you will be able to get it before the new catalog is released in June! Whoo HOO!

IMG_4487

Talk about a gorgeous set! Not only is it gorgeous, but it has so many stamps and dies, that the possibilities are endless! Did you notice a new color? Yes, its one of the new "In Colors" - Fresh Fig!

IMG_4492

Ok, I'm going to show you some display boards from my recent Stampin' Up! trip to Virginia. These are some of the actual stamped images and dies in the suite. I will be sending out ordering info in 5 more days!

IMG_4190

Here's a few display board samples to get you excited!
