#1 Stampers Team Christmas Party & a Sneak Peek

We had such a great time last weekend at our #1 Stampers team party. I love getting together with my team and enjoying each others company. We also did a little bit of stamping and swapping as well as exchanged some amazing hand stamped gifts!

We played a cute grab bag game to determine who got which gift.

Notice the little tag on Teresa's gift? Its a darling little panda from a new Sale a Bration set coming in January!

Teresa received some chocolate and some beautifully stamped Christmas cards, made by Lori Wiest.

These are a few of the cards that Lori Wiest made for her gift exchange:

Kathy's gift came wrapped in this gorgeous stamped paper by Sue Brennan.

The amazing work of art that was inside that pretty paper.... Sue Brennan really out did herself creating the awesome gift!

Darlene Christian was the artist that designed these matching coasters and candles for the lucky recipient.

I designed this gift bag with punched red glimmer paper circles and a tag made with the Tags and Trimmings stamp set. I didn't make a hand stamped gift, however, inside were stamps and goodies from the upcoming NEW Occasions Catalog!

We played some super fun games and had a snowball fight to win prizes. I think this was the favorite game that night.

I also had the girls tear a Christmas Tree behind their backs. The best tree won a prize. I also gave a prize to the tree that wasn't the best ;) Here are some of the trees. Unfortunately neither the best or worst trees are in this photo. Not sure where they ran off to...

We also had a cool make n take with a new stamp set and accessories from the soon to be released Occasions Catalog 2018.

Lori is assembling her cute card before our next game.

This set is called Bubble Over and you'll be able to order it in January. Check out the designer paper, the new sequin emboss folfder, the clear bubbles and the self adhesive sequins- yes, you'll be able to order those soon too!

Such a wonderful night with these fun and fabulous women. I'll have the swaps and some amazing cards to share later this week, so be sure to check back.

Until the next time...

Christmas Party Favors and Gifts

I had our annual Christmas Party for my #1 Stampers team last night. I'll share lots of photos of the party later this week, but I wanted to share the favors and gifts that each attendee received.

I used the Stampin Up Pizza Boxes to package the party favors and gifts for each team member.

These boxes are small white pizza shaped boxes in the Holiday Catalog. However, I "painted" the boxes red to fit the Christmas theme. I got this idea from a gift I received at the Stampin' Up Convention, from my friend Lynsay Mahon. See Lynsays blog here.

This is the box that Lynsay gave me:

I loved Lynsay's design and especially the fact that she colored the pizza box. Lynsay explained that she filled a Stampin' Up Spritzer with water and added 10-15 drops of re-inker. Then lightly sprayed the boxed before she assembled it, and rubbed in the color with a paper towel. So, I tried it and my boxes came out perfectly! Thanks Lynsay!

I used a Stampin Blends marker in old olive to color the pearl. Did you know that our Stampin' Blends could color non- porous surfaces?

I used the Christmas Around the World designer paper to decorate the boxes, as well as the mini tinsel trim in silver. A 2 1/4" circle punch was used to punch the sparkly red glimmer paper on the front of the box.

Inside, I covered Ghirardelli Chocolates with 3" x 1 1/2" Christmas Around the World designer paper strips.

But, that's not all- I also created a Christmas shaker magnet for each of the girls as well.

Keeping with the red and green color scheme, I used the holly and berries from the Tags and Trimmings stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. I added some sparkle with red glimmer paper as well as the Stampin Up Metallic Sequins.

I used Foam Strips and Acetate Window sheets to create the shaker. I also used the 2 1/4", 1 3/4" and 3/4" punches for all the circles. Then I simply glued a small circular magnet on the back with Multi purpose glue. Its difficult to see, but I also glued a piece of the real red tinsel trim around the circle to cover the foam strip around the outside of the circle.

I loved making these Christmas magnets for my girls. I hope they loved them too!

Here's a peek inside the box: The ink spots are a new item in the soon to be released Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog!

I'll have more crafty cards and projects to share from the Christmas party, so be sure to check back soon!

Stampin Up Tags and Trimmings Holly Berry Card

I love holly berries, the color, the pointed leaves and the round shiny berries, just make me smile. The stamp set, Tags and Trimmings has the perfect variety of berries and holly, plus a whole lot more.

We made this card at Kim's Card Class last week. Its so simple and pretty. I used a color of ink that I don't use very often- rose red- its a perfect mix of red and pink and I thought it would be a interesting departure from the typical real red for the berries.

I used wild wasabi for the holly leaves, as it compliments the rose red, perfectly.

I also used the delicate and beautiful, Holly emboss folder on whisper white cardstock, for the background. Ahhh... I'm totally gaga over this emboss folder!

The Starburst punch fits perfectly inside the 2 1/4" circle punch. The jagged edges of the whisper white look so cool against the old olive circle. I also punched out the berries with the 3/4" circle punch and popped them up with dimensionals.

Sweet and simple hollies all around this humble Christmas greeting card. Perfect for those of you who need to make multiples for all of your friends and family this holiday season.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up Gift Packaging Class - A few fun photos!

I have to say, that the Holiday Gift Packaging Class, yesterday, was a big hit. We had a great time creating fall and Christmas gift ideas both in the morning and evening classes. The attendees made 10 Holiday projects- gifts included!

Thanks to all who attended, for making the day extra fun and special!

Lori and Jan are excited to create their first project of the day, using the mini acetate boxes. Some yummy Ghirardelli chocolate and a candle fill the two boxes and are ready for gift giving!

We decorated a mini pizza box with the Foil Frenzy designer paper and a shiny foil snowflake.

Inside were 5 mini 3x3 cards and matching envelopes. How darling!

So perfectly snug in the cute little Stampin' Up Mini Pizza Box.

Leah and Cheryl were excited to see that chocolate was one of the main ingredients in their first project.

Here they are showing off their favorite creations of the day.

Jan and Lori also had a few favorites- especially, the Seasonal Chums set- because they loved the cute little deer (which they named Chip- just in case you needed to know-lol)

Here's Chip :)

He's a little treat tube candy holder. Here's a look at the inside:

Well, thats all for now, folks. I'll be sharing more of the projects and pics later this week.
