Watercolor Christmas Project Kit

Christmas Around the World- Stampin Up Designer Paper

I'm sharing a quick and easy card with you today. Its very simple, but its very cute a colorful.

The stamp that I used is the Watercolor Christmas stamp set. This set also coordinates with the Watercolor Christmas Project kit that I posted a few weeks ago. I love the font used for the greetings in this set.

I framed the greeting with a die from the Layering Squares framelit set in always artichoke cardstock. The scallop square makes the greeting so charming.

The Christmas Around the World Designer Paper really is super cute! The patterns in this paper pack, are everything that you would want for Christmas- including nutcrackers and christmas treats. This card has the traveling vehicles pattern, which is so awesome!

I also used the new Red Tinsel Ribbon to add a little sparkle and attached it with a glue dot. I stuck with traditional Christmas colors for this card: cherry cobbler, old olive and always artichoke. They blend perfectly with the designer paper.

Well, thats the quick card of the day. I hope you enjoyed it!

Stampin' Up Gift Packaging Class - A few fun photos!

I have to say, that the Holiday Gift Packaging Class, yesterday, was a big hit. We had a great time creating fall and Christmas gift ideas both in the morning and evening classes. The attendees made 10 Holiday projects- gifts included!

Thanks to all who attended, for making the day extra fun and special!

Lori and Jan are excited to create their first project of the day, using the mini acetate boxes. Some yummy Ghirardelli chocolate and a candle fill the two boxes and are ready for gift giving!

We decorated a mini pizza box with the Foil Frenzy designer paper and a shiny foil snowflake.

Inside were 5 mini 3x3 cards and matching envelopes. How darling!

So perfectly snug in the cute little Stampin' Up Mini Pizza Box.

Leah and Cheryl were excited to see that chocolate was one of the main ingredients in their first project.

Here they are showing off their favorite creations of the day.

Jan and Lori also had a few favorites- especially, the Seasonal Chums set- because they loved the cute little deer (which they named Chip- just in case you needed to know-lol)

Here's Chip :)

He's a little treat tube candy holder. Here's a look at the inside:

Well, thats all for now, folks. I'll be sharing more of the projects and pics later this week.

Thanks for checking in!

Until the next time...

Stampin' Up! Watercolor Christmas Card Kit

I have a super cute and fun Christmas card kit to share with you today. This was so easy to put together, I think it took me all of 45 minutes.

I made 20 cards with envelopes and only had to supply my own adhesive.

This is the Watercolor Christmas Project kit:

And these are the cards and envelopes made with the kit. The envelopes are actually already regular envelopes- you just need to slide the gold lining inside.

The coordinating, Watercolor Christmas stamp set was used to stamp the greetings on the cards.

There are 20 cards, (5) each of four designs.

Scissors are also needed, to cut the sequin trim. I had a lot of trim left over to use on another project later.

Its so quick and easy to assemble, I almost didn't have to read the instructions that were included. I basically just looked at the photos.

I used tiny dots of our multi purpose glue to adhere the sequins.

A look at the greeting inside:

And just like that, I've got 20 Christmas cards made already and its only September!

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Until the next time...
