Stampin' Up! Easter Lamb
January 28, 2016
Easter, already? Why, yes. Easter is early this year. So, its time to think about making Easter cards to send and put in Easter Baskets.
This stamp is darling. It is one single stamp and only costs $10. But, thinking past Easter, this can also be used to make baby cards. Just cover up the greeting or omit it.
For this card I embossed the lamb on crumb cake cardstock in gold emboss powder. I then used our white gel pen to color in some of the wool. The gel pen really pops on the crumb cake cardstock. And its really easy to color in- no going out of the lines, since I embossed it in gold first.
For the scallop edge on the front of the card, I used the circle framelits. Here's how I placed the framelit before I ran it through the Big Shot. I used the circle framelits to make all the circles on this card. This is also the view of the inside of the card. I used the birthday bouquet designer series paper to line the inside.
Let's talk about this watermelon wonder satin ribbon, also from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. Oh my goodness- this ribbon is just glorious. I wish we carried it in every color.
I know its not even Valentines Day yet. But, hey, now you have an idea for Easter. So, you are way ahead of the game.
Thank you for taking time to stop by my blog today.
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
