Stampin Up! Rose Wonder: A quick and easy birthday card

I had mentioned that I have been stamping with this set A LOT. Well, its true. I wanted to share another card that I made with the Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden framelits.

This card is very simple and very easy. Its the type of card that you can whip up a dozen in no time. It can also be used with a multitude of greetings and verses.

I die cut the rose/leaves with the Rose Garden framelits on basic black cardstock.

Then all I did was sponge pumpkin pie and melon mambo ink randomly on a piece of  3 3/4" x 5" piece of whisper white cardstock. What I mean by "sponge"... is I dip my stampin sponge in the ink pad, and I RUB, not pat, the ink onto the cardstock. The two colors will blend nicely together.

On a separate piece of whisper white cardstock ( I used a scrap) I sponged pear pizazz and mint macaron inks. I then traced the die cut leaves onto the scrap paper that I sponged in the mint macaron and pear pizazz inks- and cut it out. I glued it behind the diecut leaves with the fine tip glue pen. The entire diecut was then glued to the card front that was sponged with the melon mambo and pumpkin pie inks. I stamped the Happy Birthday in black archival ink.

Such bright, happy colors. Check out this set for sure. Not only will you love the rose, but the greetings and verses are beautiful too.

Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
