Stampin' Up Zoo Babies Birthday Card

I love the "cuteness" of this adorable little set. The "Zoo Babies" stamp set is perfect for baby cards, kids birthdays, or even an adult who loves animals. I decided to gear it more towards a fun, kids birthday card, all bright and happy.

In addition to the "Zoo Babies" stamp set, I also used the "It's Wild" background stamp and the "Remembering Your Birthday" stamp set- which also has "inside the card" verses.

I used the Stampin Up Bold Brights color family for this card. I also used a variety of circle punches in several different sizes.

I added a tiny touch of sparkle by using the "Confetti Hearts Border" punch and punching out a red glimmer paper heart. Its the perfect size for the snappy gator.

I stamped all of the zoo animals in the same color ink as the punched circle of cardstock that they are layered onto. So spiffy.

Don't forget to make the inside fun too! I stamped Mr. Monkey in pacific point ink.

I think overall, it turned out super cute. Don't 'cha think?

I think I know some adorable kids who would appreciate this card... and maybe even a few adults that would love it too!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my blog today.

Until the next time...

WEEKLY DEALS : March 29- April 4

Stampin' Up! "A Beautiful Bunch"

I thought that I would experiment with a new color palette today. I've been wanting to use some bold fun colors. So, I chose some purples and oranges for today's card.

To be exact, I used, rich razzleberry, wisteria wonder and tangerine tango with a little so saffron thrown in for good measure.

I stamped the flowers from the "A Beautiful Bunch" stamp set in the same colors of ink as the cardstock that I stamped them on. This gives the flowers a more intense color. I love this set because it has a coordinating punch, called "Fun Flower" punch. It makes it so easy to stamp and punch out- no fussy cutting involved.

I used several dots of crystal effects on the middle of the flowers. I love how the crystal effects adds shine and dimension. I don't think the crystal effects was completely dry in these photos.

It kind of looks like drops of dew.

The background of the card is stamped with the "Watercolor Wash" background stamp in so saffron ink. I love this stamp for just about everything.

The greeting is from the "A Dozen Thoughts" stamp set which I stamped in rich razzleberry ink. I also added some 2014-2016 "In Color" washi tape. I wanted to add a little dimension to the tape, so I applied a few candy dots in rich razzleberry.

I really like how it turned out. The colors really mesh nicely together.

I hope you are inspired to step out of your "color comfort zone" and try a new color palette the next time you create a card or hand-stamped project.

Happy Birthday Wild Thing

I had to make a quick birthday card today for someone who loves animal print and fun colors.

So I grabbed my "Sunburst Thinlits" die and "Sunburt Sayings" stamp set to design the perfect card.

Of course the Stampin' Up! "Go Wild" designer series paper pack fit the theme perfectly.

The cardstock colors that I used are pool party and tip top taupe. I also used the tip top taupe ink to stamp the greeting. A little bling-ity, bling to add some sparkle was the perfect touch. I love Stampin' Up's rhinestone jewels. They look good on everything!

This card was so super easy, I was able to design it in no time at all. The Sunburst framelit makes it so easy to create a card. Its the only design element needed. A couple of circle punches and it was finished. But it's nice to add some extra accents too.

It's a wild and crazy card for a wild and crazy (and really fun) friend. I hope she likes it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I sure appreciate you for taking the time to view my creations!

Stampin' Up! Cup and Kettle- I'm a little teapot

Here's a cute card that I designed today on the fly. I wanted to use the" Cups and Kettle" framelits from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog. The framelits coordinate with the "A Nice Cuppa" set. I used them both together along with the "Have a Cuppa" designer series paper pack.

The designer paper is so stinkin' cute. I just love the colors. So, I had to use a LOT of it! There is 48 sheets in the pack, so there is plenty of it to go crazy with.

I used whisper white, bermuda bay and basic gray cardstocks. The ink is melon mambo. The tag is made with the Washi Label punch and I embellished it with the candy dots and brads. The candy dots are made to fit perfectly on top of the candy dot brad bases.

I attached everything to the card with dimensionals. The fine tip glue pen came in handy when attaching the heart to the kettle.

A card has got to be fun on the inside too...

It's such a cute little teapot.

This cute little card, really took no time at all to create. I whipped it up while I was cooking dinner!

I hope you like my quick and cute card, enough to whip one up, yourself.

The Inspiration Continues...

Well, since I already had this pretty little stamp set out yesterday... I made one more card using the pink color scheme.

I just couldn't put the Grateful Bunch stamp set away yet. I used inspiration from the cards from yesterdays post and made this soft and pretty in pink card today.

I used crumb cake, pink pirouette, blushing bride and very vanilla cardstocks. In addition, I also used the Love Blossoms paper pack from the Stampin' Up Occasions catalog. The inks are: pear pizzaz, melon mambo and blushing bride.

Close up of the pearl jewel detail. The flower was stamped on blushing bride cardstock in melon mambo ink and was cut out with my fabulous paper snips. I then attached it to the card with a dimensional.

The beautiful melon mambo cotton ribbon was tied around the card in a cute little bow.

Well, if you have the supplies out to make one... might as well make a bunch while you are at it.

Anyone want to take a guess as to what my favorite color is??

One last photo, for good measure... and because I took so many.

Letting the inspiration flow... hope its flowing to all of you out there in stampin' land.
