Stampin' Up! "A Beautiful Bunch"
March 29, 2016
I thought that I would experiment with a new color palette today. I've been wanting to use some bold fun colors. So, I chose some purples and oranges for today's card.
To be exact, I used, rich razzleberry, wisteria wonder and tangerine tango with a little so saffron thrown in for good measure.
I stamped the flowers from the "A Beautiful Bunch" stamp set in the same colors of ink as the cardstock that I stamped them on. This gives the flowers a more intense color. I love this set because it has a coordinating punch, called "Fun Flower" punch. It makes it so easy to stamp and punch out- no fussy cutting involved.
I used several dots of crystal effects on the middle of the flowers. I love how the crystal effects adds shine and dimension. I don't think the crystal effects was completely dry in these photos.
It kind of looks like drops of dew.
The background of the card is stamped with the "Watercolor Wash" background stamp in so saffron ink. I love this stamp for just about everything.
The greeting is from the "A Dozen Thoughts" stamp set which I stamped in rich razzleberry ink. I also added some 2014-2016 "In Color" washi tape. I wanted to add a little dimension to the tape, so I applied a few candy dots in rich razzleberry.
I really like how it turned out. The colors really mesh nicely together.
I hope you are inspired to step out of your "color comfort zone" and try a new color palette the next time you create a card or hand-stamped project.
Until the next time...
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
