Stampin Up Sample Boards and More Peeks at the New Catalog

I know I said that I wrapped up my last post on the Stampin' Up! On Stage, Convention. But, this is all about the stamps, samples and creative ideas that were shared.

I have some cool scrapbook pages to share, that were made with Stampin' Up's Project Life kits and that were displayed on the many display boards at Convention. Plus, an adorable surprise at the end of my post.

I'll start with this cute spread...

I love this one. Its so cheerful and bright.

Don't you just love all the new Project Life cards and elements?

Here's a little peek at some new designers series paper that will be in the Stampin Up Annual Catalog- 2016-2017. Stunning!

Ok, so this is a teaser from the New Catalog... one of my favorite new sets, Baby Bear. I was able to give this set away, to some lucky demonstrators, as my prize patrol during my presentation. Too bad, I didn't get to keep one!

That's all for now, folks. I've got to work on my upcoming "Kim's Card Class" and also my Team Meeting and 2 workshops, coming up this week.... not to mention my son and my dads birthday parties!

Until the next time...

Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!

Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention- Wrapping it Up

One last post about my trip to SLC and the Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention.

There was so much to see and do over the 7 days that I was in SLC. So many friends to see and spend time with, so much to learn and many friends and accomplishments to celebrate.

First stop after I landed was a Diners Drive-Ins and Dives place called the Blue Plate Diner.

It was early morning, so I had the Veggie Omlet- it was as big as my head!

Next, it was off to the Salt Palace Convention Center for rehearsal and hanging with the SU staff backstage. It was so much fun and really helped me relax before my live presentation.

Shelli Gardner- Co Founder of Stampin' Up! and Sara Douglass- CEO,  with Janna the fabulous make-up Artist, and Marlee their assistant, prepping backstage.

Making a back-up video, just in case..

The night before the kick off of Convention, my friends, Cindy, Linda and I had a Premiere Kick Off Party to celebrate our teams. The theme was "Apple of My Eye" because our girls definitely are that!

Here they all are at our cute apple themed table.

Our demonstrators friends from Hawaii, are ready for the Opening Session of Convention. Don't Martha, Cindy and Zeny look awesome in their matching Hawaiian shirts?

It's so fun to get to see friends that we don't see often. This is our friend Dawn from Michigan.

A live band, balloons and confetti to get the crowd going!

There was a special dinner for Silver Elites and above that night and a  dueling piano show that was so fun and hilarious!

It was a great black and white affair at the Grand America Hotel.

My presentation was the following morning.

Next was our Advisory Board Alumni Dinner at Gracies in SLC. I celebrated with my Advisory Board sisters from both years that I served, and all of the other Alumni over the past 25 years.

My AB sisters Cindy and Linda...

and Lisa and Robyn.

Our final day. Its so much fun when my bestie, Raelene, is part of my team.

My #1 Stampers Team, rocks! Raelene, Me, Connie, Kathy, Kristi and Alyssa, representing Pittsburgh, PA!

My friends, Cindy, Linda and I celebrated our Sales Milestones that day. We all reached our goals of $500,000, $600,000 and $1 million in personal career sales, respectively.

That evening we celebrated, "Million Dollar Linda" with a surprise dinner at the amazing Roof Restuarant in SLC.

Lest not forget, one of the best parts of Convention are the Sample Boards. Here's just a few:

And the NEW In Colors: 2016-2017- they are gorgeous!

Whew, well I think that wraps it up in a nut shell. I hope you enjoyed seeing a little of what happens at the Stampin' Up Convention. Maybe one day, you too, will join me as part of my #1 Stampers team.

Until the next time...

Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!

Kim's Card Class- Part 2 - The Bonus Card

As promised, I have the "bonus" card from my April Class to share with you today.

For this fun fold card, I used the "Be A Star" stamp set ( which is retiring soon) along with the Star Framlits and the Itty Bitty Accents punch set (also retiring) and the Medium Star punch for all the star images.

I used the 2.5" circle punch (also retiring and its one of my all time favorites!) for the opening where the star pops through.

I used a variety of cardstock, including the gold foil paper, blackberry bliss, hello honey and lost lagoon. The designer paper is called the Sweet Lil' Things. The strips across the flap are done with the 2014-2016 In Color Washi Tape.

You can see a tutorial on how I made this fun fold card, if you click on the list to the right of my blog under " Tutorials."

This is one of my favorite card fold ideas. I hope you'll give it a try sometime soon.

I'll be posting more about my Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention soon... I have lots of sample boards to share from my trip to SLC.

Until then...

Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!

Kim's Card Class- Quick & Easy Cards

I have more fun (and sneak peeks) to share with you from the Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention. But, first I wanted to share my April Card Class with you.

We made some super cute, quick and easy cards at class, before I left for Salt Lake City.

Here's an adorable baby card made with the Zoo Babies stamp set: I used bermuda bay and basic gray archival inks, along with smokey slate, hello honey and bermuda bay cardstock. I used the Lucky Stars emboss folder for the starry background.

I love this vintage typewriter card, made with the Tap, Tap, Tap stamp set: I used the shimmery white cardstock and colored it with aqua painters and the pacific point ink from the lid of an ink pad. The Chevron emboss folder was used for the retro background.

I love the colors on this simple birthday card. The blackberry bliss, pool party and island indigo inks really pack a punch of color on this card. I used the Cupcake Party stamp set and coordinating Cupcake Builder Punch along with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to add some fun splatter to this card.

All of these stamp sets, (except Gorgeous Grunge) emboss folders and punches ( except Curvy Corner Trio punch) as well as a couple other items on this page, are retiring- so if you see one you would like to have, be sure to get it soon. * See the retired list that was posted a few days ago*

I'll share the bonus card that we made, on another day. So, be sure to check back to see it!

Until then...

Keep on Stampin' and come back again soon!

Stampin Up On Stage Convention Part 3- Apple of My Eye Party Swaps

During my visit to SLC for the On Stage Stampin Up! Convention, I participated in a couple of swaps.

We had a "Premiere Party" for our teams before the kick off of Convention began to celebrate and thank our team members.

I posted some pictures the other day of the "Apple of My Eye" theme that we used for our party.

Now, I would like to share a few swaps that were made. Of course we used the "Apple of My Eye" stamp set as the swap theme. This set is just adorable - AND it will be retiring soon, so if you have had your "eye" on this one, get it soon!

Check out the awesome swaps created by our talented team members. All cards were made with the "Apple of My Eye" stamp set. Such a great variety!

I am going to post a few of the swaps. Here's a pile of them:

This cute lemon card was made by : Alyssa Trunzo. Alyssa used dazzling diamonds glitter to sparkle up the lemon and the softly falling emboss folder to give this card texture.

This beautiful citrus card was made by : Raelene Ellenberger. Raelene used hello honey and mossy meadow inks along with the circle framelits dies and some silver thread and striped hello honey ribbon. She also used the decorative dots emboss folder and the heart punch from itty bitty accents punch pack to give this card some dimension.

This vibrant gem was made by: Kristi Kildoo- see her blog here

Kristi used tangerine tango ink and the clear wink of stella pen on the oranges, then she covered them with crystal effects. Yum.

This adorable "out of the box" card was made by: Zeny Lucey

Zeny used the Love Blossoms designer paper and a variety of circle punches on this card.

How cute is this apple shaped card made by: Cindy Baughman? Visit her blog here

Cindy used the deco label framelits for the shape of the apple.

I made this vibrant card with tangelo twist, hello honey, real red and mossy meadow inks and cardstocks, and added a strip of striped cotton ribbon in tangelo twist.

This refreshing lemonade card was made by Sheryl Wheatley. Sheryl used the uber cool bokeh technique, some velum and striped designer paper to make this darling card.

This cute basket of apples was made by Cindy T. She used the Berry Basket die to form the basket and the Farmers Market designer series paper for the background.

Check out this cool Envelope Card made by Linda Bauwin. See her blog here.

Linda also used real red and garden green cardstock, along with the Elegant Dots emboss folder.

A bright and shiny card made by Kathy Sullivan. Kathy used clear emboss powder to make the fruits look juicy. Looks good enough to eat!

Wow, its amazing how many card ideas can come from ONE stamp set. The possibilities are endless. If you don't have this set, you may want to get it before it retires!

I hope you enjoyed these cards as much as I did. These ladies are super talented and so creative!

Until the next time...

Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!

I wanted to share all the "loot" that I received during the On Stage Stampin Up Convention. We get so many cool products and of course there is swapping and gift giving and prizes too!

Check out all the cool stuff that I hauled home:

We also made some cool Make n Takes while we attended the Stampin Up! On Stage Convention. Everything shown here will be in the NEW Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog 2016-2017.

Here's and adorable shaker card made with the new stamp set called, "Confetti Celebration." We even have a new Confetti Punch and foam strips to make shaker cards the easy peasy way!

Here's a super cute card made with the new Card Kit- "Oh Happy Day" this has got to be my most favorite card kits ever. (wish I would have noticed that the bow was messy before I took the photo)

This is the "Oh Happy Day" card, opened: So super cute!

This is a card made with the new "Love and Affection" Stamp set and coordinating "Affectionately Yours" designer paper and also the new "Floral Affection" emboss folder. This paper is stunning in person- it has copper highlights throughout.

If you look closely, you can see the copper highlights on the designer paper.
