#1 Stampers Meeting- a peek at a few new stamp sets - And a note about "No Contact" orders
May 11, 2016
First off, one thing that I wanted to mention that is totally off of the subject... If you put in an order with me, online... Please do not check the "No Contact" box. The reason why, is because, if you do, that prevents me from knowing who you are, and I cannot send you a hand stamped, THANK YOU card. That makes me sad, because, of course I would love to thank you!!
Ok, back to the subject at hand...
One of my favorite stamping events has to be my team meetings. I always look forward to seeing my girls, sharing ideas, stamping and having a few belly laughs as well.
We had a great Post Convention meeting where we shared all that we learned at the Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention in SLC. We even had a Facebook Live presentation from Alyssa from Philly!
I wanted to share one of the make n takes that we did that night. We did three projects with products from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog 2016-2017. This one that I am sharing is one of my favorites.
This is actually one of the stamp sets that I demonstrated at the On Stage Convention. Its almost the exact card that I made too!
This the the New "Fresh Fruit" stamp set, using the new "In Colors": peek a boo peach, and emerald envy. Don't you just love those bright juicy colors? So perfect for this fruit set.
I did the "masking" technique. You can see the scalloped oval where the greeting is stamped. I actually cut out the scalloped oval with the New "Layering Ovals Framelits". I cut it from a post it note, so that the scallop oval mask would stick to my cardstock while I stamped over it. Then I peeled the post it note oval off of my card and stamped the Thank You greeting in basic gray archival ink.
Check out the new 1/4" Natural Trim ribbon, in gold. This will also be available in the New Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog 2016-2017 which will be released on June 1st! Just a couple more weeks, and you'll be able to have a copy yourself. And if you don't have a demonstrator and would like to order a new catalog- please email me at [email protected] so that I can send you a copy!
I hope that you enjoyed this new set. Just wait until you see the rest of it! You are going to put this on your Wish List for sure!
Until the next time...
Keep on Stampin' and Come Back again soon!
