I received my "Pineapple" stamp the other day and I could not wait to sit down and play with it. I knew that I wanted to design a card with my new blog in mind. Of course, it had to be pink and black to coordinate with my new banner design.
It was so much fun to just let the creativity flow. Stamp, stamp, snip, snip, bling bling. I love all colors of pink and black as well, so it was easy to come up with color combinations that I loved.
It was so relaxing to just stamp away, let the creativity flow, and design whatever I wanted. I finally came up with the perfect card to celebrate my new blog design.
Here's the final creation ... ta da!
This is a close up of the shimmer that I added with the Wink of Stella brush in clear.
I fussy cut the texture on the pineapple and attached it with glue dots. I used a variety of colors, including pink pirouette, melon mambo, flirty flamingo, peek a boo peach, mint macaron and wild wasabi. I then applied the color with sponge daubers.
It wouldn't be a true Kim Original without some bling. I added lots of sparkly rhinestones on the pineapple rind and one on the bow as well.
I wish this set and the "Pop of Pink" designer paper was available now, so that you could all have it too!
This card makes me happy, happy, happy - right side up or upside down. Either way and every way, its a match made in pineapple heaven.
One more photo, because I just can't get enough pink pineapples.
I won't be able to post the supply list until June 1st when the New Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog 2016-2017 goes live. But, I will be sure to come back to it and list them next month.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope I've inspired you in some way today.
Until the next time...
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
