I was excited to get to use one of my favorite flower themed stamp sets to make cards for a couple friends who are pretty amazing.
The "Remarkable You" stamp set is one of those sets that is so beautiful, no matter what color or what layout it is stamped in.
I knew I wanted to emboss and watercolor these cards, because this set looks beautiful with both techniques.
I used watercolor paper and copper emboss powder and then colored in the flowers with my aquapainters and ink from the lids of my ink pads.
This card uses watermelon wonder, flirty flamingo and bermuda bay inks and cardstocks.
I added a few pearl jewels and beautiful ribbon to accent this card.
I also used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set for the splattered background. I couldn't live without the Gorgeous Grunge splatter stamp!
Here's a card also stamped with the Remarkable You stamp set. This time I used marina mist, island indigo, pear pizazz and wild wasabi inks on the watercolor paper.
After I took this photo, I added a few small pearl jewels in the background. I wish I would have taken another photo, but even without the pearls, this card still has that simple beauty.
I have a couple more cards made with this stamp set to share with you later in the week, so stop back to take a look!
Until the next time...
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
