Fruit Basket full of Pretty Pineapples

Of course I was eager to get my hands on this adorable Fruit Basket stamp set and coordinating Itty Bitty Fruit punches. I especially wanted to make some cards with the cute little pineapples in this set.

I also used the awesome Tutti Frutti designer paper on this "sweet" little card.

IMG_0150

I used several circle punches, the Myths and Magic glimmer paper as well as the Itty Bitty Fruit pineapple punch.

The Stampin Write Markers in pool party and crumb cake were used to color in the fruit basket.

IMG_0151

I used a utility knife to cut a slit in the basket, to slide the pineapples into.

Its such a bright and cheerful cards - just a fun "hello" to send to a sweet friend.

Thanks for visiting today!

Magical Day Birthday Card

Today I'm sharing a quick birthday card with the Magical Day stamp set and coordinating Myths and Magic designer paper. There's also a peek of gold embossing on the greeting banner.

IMG_0125

My favorite part of the card is the raised embossing and the shimmer of the designer series paper. I stamped the lemon lime twist cardstock with bermuda bay ink and added sponging around the greeting banner.

IMG_0126

The Myths and Magic glimmer paper adds some fun sparkle to the fun birthday card.

IMG_0127

The bermuda bay chevron ribbon adds just the right touch to the knight and shining armour- dragon slayer, birthday card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Brusho and Beautiful Day stamp set

If you follow me on Facebook, you probably saw my Brusho swatches that I was playing around with. Well, I made them into cards.

I will share the first one with you today.

I used the big, bold, beautiful flower from the Beautiful Day stamp set as well as the Brilliant Red Brusho powder.

IMG_0122

I used watercolor paper for my first attempt at Brusho. I wet the paper first with an aqua painter. I then sprinkled the brilliant red brusho and a little bit of gamboge (orange) brusho onto the wet paper. Then spritzed it with water again from about 4" away.

IMG_0041

I wanted it to dry fast so that I could emboss over it, so I used my heat tool to dry it. I then used white emboss powder and embossed the flower over it and cut it out.

  IMG_0124

For the leaf, I did the same as above, only with the moss green brusho and cut it out and adhered the leaf onto the red flower. I backed it with the gorgeous Petal Passion designer paper, black shimmer ribbon and a few rhinestones in the middle of the flower.

IMG_0123

I'm really enjoying the brusho and all the unique combinations that can be created with it. I have more to share so come back again soon!

Magical Day and a Bit of Brusho

Oh my goodness. I had so much fun creating this mermaid card today. I went a little wild and over the top, but, that's the way I roll.

The Magical Day stamp set and coordinating Magical Mates dies are absolutely fabulous! You may have passed this set by in the Occasions catalog, thinking its just for kids. But, I'm here to tell you, first of all, YES, the kids in your family will absolutely LOVE receiving cards made with this set, and secondly, YOU will love making cards and scrapbook pages with this charming suite. The stamps, dies, designer paper, glimmer paper and washi tape- they all coordinate and look amazing together!

So, here's the card. There is something else super cool about this card, that I will point out, in a minute. Are you seeing it?

IMG_0088

Did you notice the turquoise and the iridescent glimmer paper? Its from the new Myths and Magic glimmer paper pack. So, I thought it would be cool to try the new Brusho on the iridescent glimmer paper! It turned out so cool. I sprinkled 5-6 shakes of the Prussian Blue Brusho onto the dry glimmer paper. I then spritzed it with water a few times from about 8" away. Then, I took a paper towel and sopped up the excess water. Viola! It looks awesome! You saw it HERE FIRST folks. Can't wait to play with the brusho on glimmer paper with more colors as well.

IMG_0084

I cut the waves and the mermaids with the Magical Mates dies. I didn't want the waves lined up perfectly straight, so I offset them a little. The Mermaids were colored with the Stampin Blends Alcohol Markers.

IMG_0085

I used silver emboss powder to emboss the Magical day greeting and cut it out with the dies.

IMG_0083

Can you see the little Clear Glitter Epoxy bubble's?

I added a bunch.. I love these little bubbles. So perfect for under the sea.

I adore these little mermaids. I couldn't decide if I liked the blonde, brunette or redhead better, so I used all three!

IMG_0100

I used a LOT of ribbon on this card. I wanted to tie in all the sparkly colors of the card with the ribbon colors.

IMG_0097

I kept the inside very simple... as the outside was so over the top.

IMG_0096

This card sparkles and glitters from every angle. I wish you could see it in person.

IMG_0098

I used so many dimensionals on this super layered up, magical card. I think I set a record.

IMG_0095

Three little Mermaids wishing you a Magical Day. It doesn't get much better than that.

IMG_0101

I hope you, go back a take a look at the Magical Day stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. *link on sidebar* Its not just for kids (who by the way, think this is the best set ever!) its for us big people too!

I'll have more Brusho creations for you later this week. So stop back again!

Picture Perfect Birthday- Stampin Up

I'm sharing a super sweet birthday card with you today. I got this idea from Janice Weightman, in a swap that we did together.

I loved the colors and the simplicity of this card. It was a snap to put together, especially with the beautiful Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and gorgeous Picture Perfect Party designer paper. You seriously need to check out this paper in the Occasions Catalog or the product list that I posted below. It is amazing!

IMG_2720

This is the coolest birthday verse ever... Cue the Confetti- I love it! I also love all the vibrant colors. I used lemon lime twist, peek a boo peach, pool party, so saffron and berry burst inks and cardstocks. The lemon lime twist banner was punched with the Triple Banner Punch to create the tail on the banner, which I placed side-ways on the card.

  IMG_2721

I added a few rhinestone gems to the candle flames for shine and sparkle. I love how easy, but so cute, this card is. I could whip up dozens of these in no time at all!

Thanks for stopping by today.
