Stampin' Up Barn Door Stamps and Dies

I have some fun cards to share with you today, made with the new Stampin' Up Barn Door Bundle.

Its such a fun set to play with. I've created 3 different designs and one of them we will make at Card Class this week. Yay!

The first card is also made with the " This Little Piggy" stamp set. I thought it would be fun to put the piggy in the barn. It works perfectly with this set. I will post a Stampin' Up video below, showing just how to make a barn door card with the Barn Door Bundle. So scroll to the bottom of this post to see it.

The cardstock that I used is whisper white and basic black and also the Woodgrain Designer Series paper. The inks are smoky slate, crumb cake, pink pirouette, and the memento black pad.

I colored in the pig with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I used both the smoky slate and pink pirouette sets of markers.

If you watch the video below, you will also get a list of the "behind the scenes" items that were used to put this card together. I will also post the supply list below.

I used the Stampin Write water based markers to color directly on the wreath stamp in crumb cake, pink pirouette and basic black.

How cool is this? The door slides back and forth to reveal the message. The whisper white piece that has the pig/message stamped on it is 41/4" x 2 1/2". The card base is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.  The door is cut out with a framelit from the barn door set.

I hope the card class girls like it!

The colors are whisper white, crumb cake and basic black- same for the inks as well as cherry cobbler. I also used the Hardwood Background stamp for the card base. Same measurements as above.

IMG_0713

I colored the wreath, the same way as above... using the early espresso and cherry cobbler Stampin' Write markers.

IMG_0712

It's so fun to slide the door back and forth!

Stampin Up Fruit Basket- Pears and Pineapples

I've been making a few pineapple cards lately... and I have just one more to share with you today. I also have added a cute little pear card as well.

Any stamp set that has a matching punch or punches, rates high up on my "favorites" list. It makes for effortless and easy creating.

The Fruit Basket stamp set and bundle is one of those sets. So easy to create many, many easy and effortless greeting cards.

The first card is a pink pineapple card- no surprise there. ;) I used pink pirouette ink and cardstocks as well as whisper white and crumb cake.

IMG_0507

So soft and sweet. I added the rhinestone on the pineapple and the lemon lime twist ribbon as well as the linen thread and Polka Dot emboss folder in the background.

IMG_0505

I didn't use the pineapple punch this time, but I did make a pear card with the Fruit Basket stamp set and coordinating pear punch.

IMG_0512

I used the lemon lime twist, crumb cake and the Tutti Frutti designer papers. This was so quick and easy. I attached the punched pears with mini dimensionals and added a touch of Wink of Stella for a little shimmer on the punched out pears.

IMG_0517

I used (4) 1" strips of Tutti Frutti paper behind the pears.

IMG_0513

Here's a look at both cards again.

Tutti Frutti Pineapple Card with a splash of Brusho

Here's a super simple and super cute pineapple card made with the Tutti Frutti designer paper.

IMG_0495

I added crumb cake and whisper white cardstock as well as dazzling diamonds glimmer paper.

Did you notice the splash of color on the glimmer paper? I used the yellow Brusho and sprinkled it on then spritzed it with water and blotted the excess water with a paper towel. Here's another post where I first used Brusho on glimmer paper.

IMG_0496

The pineapples aren't stamped, but are cut out from the Tutti Frutti designer paper. I layered them on 3 squares of cardstock, 2x2 glimmer paper, 2 1/4" crumb cake and 2 1/2" whisper white.

IMG_0510

I added a Tutti Frutti sequin and a rhinestone jewel to the middle of the crumb cake ribbon.

The pineapples were attached with mini dimensionals.

IMG_0497

Cute and simple on the inside too. The greeting is from the coordinating Fruit Basket stamp set.

IMG_0498

I adore this paper and the entire Tutti Frutti suite!

Simple Mermaid Card using Magical Day

I love, love, love the new Myths and Magic designer paper. Its so sparkly, colorful and magical!

I put together a quick card using the mermaid paper and the Magical Day stamp set. Who can resist a beautiful mermaid card?

IMG_E0296

The mermaid in the circle was stamped with the black memento ink pad and colored with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I used the pool party and bermuda bay markers as well as the ivory, pumpkin pie and daffordil delight colors.

To pick up on the sparkle from the Myths and Magic designer paper, I added a strip of the new Myths and Magic glimmer paper in bermuda bay.

IMG_0297

Can you see the sparkle on the mermaids? I also added a few Glitter dots in pink, blue and green, randomly on the bubbles of the paper. Can you spot them?

IMG_E0298

A small knotted lemon lime twist ribbon is attached with a glue dot, beneath the little mermaid.

This was one of the cards we made at Card Class. I hope you liked it. :)

Apron Of Love- Another cute apron card to share

I wanted to share with you another darling apron card that I made using the Apron of Love Bundle. Again, I used the Tutti Frutti designer paper for the apron, as it goes so well with this set.

IMG_0345

This is actually one of the cards that we made at card class last week. I think the ladies really had fun putting this together.

It was pretty simple as well. We mostly used the big shot- to cut and emboss all the pieces. The vine on the lemon lime twist strip is the new Petal Pairs emboss folder. There are two folders that come with the Petal Pair emboss folder set. The other one is a gorgeous spray of flowers. The folders are 2" x 6" each.

IMG_0283

I used soft suede and real red ink as well as crumb cake and silver foil paper on this cute card.

Here's a look at the inside..

My Pink Pineapple Parade continues...

If you saw my post yesterday, you know that I created a fun, pink pineapple card with the Fruit Basket stamp set and coordinating Itty Bitty Fruit punches. Well, I had some extra pink pineapples and pieces left from making that card, so I used the extra pieces to complete this cute greeting.

IMG_0503

I used the same basic elements as I did yesterday, but simply changed the layout. I also added an embossed background using the Polka Dot emboss folder.

IMG_0501

To view colors and product details, check my blog post from yesterday. The Tutti Frutti black polka dot strip is cut at 1" x 5 1/2".

IMG_0509

Both the basic black and lemon lime twist punched circles are 3/4 inches. Once again I used the self adhering Tutti Frutti sequins in the middle of the circles.

IMG_0502

Super easy and super fun to make!

IMG_0500

Hope you've enjoyed my pineapples cards. More to come this week!

Until then...
