Vrooom... Geared Up Garage for the Manly Man

We all need masculine cards and usually its more difficult to design cards for men. However, Stampin Up has the perfect solution. The Geared Up Garage bundle is the perfect set for the manly man in your life.

The Classic Garage designer paper is the best! So many cool designs for the classic revved up greeting card.

I used the Garage Gears dies all over this card. The larger gears on the basic gray circle are embossed instead of die cut. I used the Big Shot Emboss Pads to emboss instead of cut. I'm loving the little wrench. The Classic Garage Metal Elements come with both wrenches and keys. Totally cool.

Any guy would love to receive this card for a birthday or fathers day or any celebration.

Stampin Up Humming Along bundle

The Humming Along bundle in the Stampin Up Catalog is a gorgeous hummingbird and hibiscus set. Speaking of hibiscus flowers... I'm soon to be in Hawaii, for a Stampin Up presentation that I am doing for my friend Cindy Baughman and the Stamped with Aloha team. I may already be there when this posts. I know this is one of Cindys favorite flowers, and I'm looking forward to seeing a few in person!

I used some bright and sunny Stampin Blends alcohol markers to color the images. Mango Melody, pool party, highland heather, granny apple green, pumpkin pie and bermuda bay colors worked beautifully on this card.

The new Crackle Paint background stamp in mango melody ink, added the perfect background without competing with the images.

I think this bright and sunny greeting card would make anyone feel better, don't you?

How To: Shaker Card using Sweetest Thing candy jar bundle

I'm a huge fan of shaker cards and this Sweetest Thing bundle was the perfect set to use for this fun shaker card that we made recently at my Card Class. I used 2 different ideas from 2 of my stampin friends, Lynsay Mahon and Amy Storrie, to design this sweet birthday card.

The whole Sweetest Thing suite is so yummy! I used the How Sweet It Is designer paper as well as the new two tone ribbon and some fun Iridescent sequins.

First I stamped the jar on a 2 x 3 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and colored it in with my Stampin Blends alcohol markers. I then cut out the jar with the Jar Of Sweets dies in the middle of the 4x3" How Sweet It Is designer paper. Next, I attached a piece of 2.5  x 3 inch window sheet on the back side of the designer paper with snail adhesive.

I then used Foam Strips cut into pieces to place closely around the jar. Next, I filled the jar with Iredescent sequins, peeled off the paper from the foam strips to expose the sticky adhesive and then attached the window sheet piece over top- lining up the cut out jar with the stamped jar.

I attached the Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green ribbon around the pinepple punch cardstock before attaching to the highland heather card. I then added the greeting in lovely lipstick ink.

Shake, Shake, Shake.... isn't this an adorable birthday card?

Incredible Like You

I was so impressed with the new, Incredible Like You card kit from the Occasions Catalog. It is absolutely stunning!

Plus, its so simple to assemble. Everything needed to make these beautiful cards, is included. The Incredible Like You stamp set and two inkpads are sold separately and so worth having!

Theres even a ton of mini glue dots included, so adhesive isn't needed unless you want to use your own.

This has to be, hands down, my favorite card kit in the history of ever. In person, its even more gorgeous.

Everything is pre cut and ready to go, including matching envelopes for all 16 cards.

The colors are so rich and cheery and the glimmer paper adds that little bit of glorious sparkle.

So much dimension and texture, which creates interest and fun.

As if that wasn't enough.. it also comes with this awesome storage envelope.

This is definitely a kit to impress and an absolute must have! I can't wait to put these incredible cards in the mail soon!

Puppy Love

Happy Tails is a new set in the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. Its been a big hit with my stampin friends lately. Who doesn't love a cute puppy dog?

This doggie can be made into any color or breed of dog, pretty much. I chose a dalmation for this card.

The colors are basic black, whisper white and lovely lipstick.

I added one of the new Epoxy Clear hearts over the heart punch. I colored the clear heart with a lovely lipstick Stampin Blends marker. Did you know that you can use our Stampin Blends Alcohol markers to color on non porous surfaces? Super cool, huh?
