Sneak Peek- Stampin Up New Catalog

I am loving the brand new Stampin' Up colors this year. They have added 21 new colors in all!
I had to use the awesome new purples on this card made with the Abstract Impressions stamp set, coming in June.
The colors are Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape as well as Balmy Blue, Soft Seafoam and Granny Apple Green... oh and Gray Granite. I'm so excited to have all these beautiful shades in our new color line.
Abstract Impression is a 3 step stamp set, so I used the Highland Heather first, stamped it off once onto scratch paper and then stamped onto the card. Next was the Gorgeous Grape which I stamped the same way and I also used the Balmy Blue on the small flower in the stamp set and stamped it in the middle of the rose. I wanted to make the colors pop.
This is a super simple card to make, especially if you need to make a LOT of them! I used the Gorgeous Grape cardstock for the base and added the Balmy Blue at an angle.
I also added pearl jewels that I colored with a light old olive Stampin Blend alcohol marker. Did you know that you can color on non porous surfaces with our Stampin Blends? Pretty cool, huh?
Here's some cards where I added the new white polka dot organza ribbon. I love anything with polka dots. Especially ribbon!
I'm so super excited about the New Stampin Up Catalog 2018-2019 and all the great new products and colors! The Catalog debuts June 1st and ordering begins at 2:00 pm EST. Only one more day!
