Broadway Birthday

How To: Card Fold with Stampin Up's Broadway Birthday Stamp Set

I made this super sparkly, bright, happy birthday card for a card swap that I host with other Stampin Up Demonstrators all over the country IMG_3141

I love this vintage style, cool and funky stamp set. This set has coordinating dies called Broadway Lights that work so perfectly for that marque look.

This card has a unique fold in front. Its super easy too!

I used the Broadway Bound designer paper as well as basic black, lovely lipstick, lemon lime twist, gold foil and gold glimmer paper. I stamped the greeting in granny apple green. I used the Birthday Backgrounds stamp set and stamped it onto the lovely lipstick cardstock in the same color ink for a tone on tone look.

Here's a peek at the inside. I used the candles from the Broadway Birthday set as well.

For the card I used a basic black card size 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 when folded. ( the size before folding in half is 4 1/4 x 11.  I then took the top right corner and folded it down to evenly line up with the bottom of the card.

Open it back up and apply adhesive really well so that the flap stays down.

I used the Layering Circle Framelits for the scallop circle as well as the lovely lipstick circle and attached them on the front flap.

For the sizes of the designer paper: the polka dot is cut a 4 x 1" and for the stripes I took a piece cut at 4x4. Next line the opposite points up on the cutting line of your Stampin Trimmer and cut - you will have 2 triangles. Save one for another card. :)

So super shiny and sparkly. I liked it so much that I even made one for my bff for her birthday.

This was a lot of glimmer and glitz going into my mailbox!
