Stampin' Up! First Frost Stamp Set- Simple & Elegant

One of my favorite suites in the New Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is the First Frost suite. It is simply, gorgeous in every way.

The stamp set, framelits as well as the beautiful shimmery designer paper is breath-taking.

I've designed a card that is really very easy to make, yet looks so elegant.

I used blackberry bliss, mossy meadow, soft seafoam, and tranquil tide inks. I also used tranquil tide and soft seafoam cardstock as well.

Here's a look at the way I stamped the card before adding the greeting and the die cut rose.

I stamped the 3 flowers first, starting with the middle one, then stamped the soft seafoam stems, and mossy meadow ferns.

For the splatter, I dipped an aqua painter brush into a few drops of tranquil tide re-inker and tapped the barrel of the aqua painter over the cardstock until I achieved the desired effect. I also added the new Frosted Droplets and a couple Faceted Dots.

It really was so easy to create and I even did a little die cutting for the tag and rose.

I created this card for a swap and will also be using a version of it at my next Card Class.

Stampin Up Serene Garden Dove

I'm sharing a card that we made at Card Class recently. Its from the  Serene Garden stamp set. This is one of my favorites. I love that this set has a coordinating Framelit set that has both cutting and embossing dies included.

Whisper white, coastal cabana and balmy blue are the cardstocks used as well as coastal cabana ink.

As you can see, I used the embossing die on this card. I also used it a few posts back if you want to check it out again. I love the effect this gives. When using the new embossing dies, you'll need the new Big Shot embossing mats. I'll have the supplies listed below for you to see.

I wrapped the card in the white polka dot tulle ribbon and added a coastal cabana glitter dot to the knot. I also added a few pearls to hightlight the small balmy blue flowers.

I love using these two colors together. I also used the Itty Bitty Greetings set for the verse. This set is sure getting a lot of use! I love it.

Stampin Up Serene Garden in Coastal Cabana

The Serene Garden stamp set and coordinating dies are a pretty and elegant bundle. I chose to do this card in only two colors, whisper white and coastal cabana.

The coordinating framlit dies, actually come with an embossing die as you can see in the bottom left of the card. These framelits are so cool and add an extra wow element to the card.

This is a better photo. I didn't have a great focus or angle on the photo above. The dove and flowers were also stamped in coastal cabana and die cut. I attached them with dimensionals.

This is such a simple and elegant card. The white polka dotted tulle adds a softening touch to this get well card.

Serene Garden is the perfect set for so many occasions, like, weddings, anniversaries, get well, thinking of you, sympathy and more.

Black and Gold- Share What You Love

I have'nt seen many Stampin Up card samples using the pretty little yellow flowered designer paper from the Share What You Love paper pack. I think this is such a pretty and delicate design, so I had to make a card with it.

I used so saffron and very vanilla cardstock with some black design elements. The pearlized doily is also from the Share What You Love bundle. The Share What You Love bundles are on special, the month of May only. So, don't forget to order yours!

I punched a 2 1/4" circle of so saffron cardstock and stamped it with the flowers from the Love What You Do stamp set in the same color, for a tone on tone look.  Do you recognize the other punch? Its the Tailored Tag punch from the Occasions Catalog. It was the perfect size to stamp my spray of flowers, which I stamped in crumb cake ink and colored in with a so saffron marker.

The polka dot ribbon and black faceted dots are new items that will be in the brand new Stampin Up Annual Catalog, in June. Don't you just LOVE that gorgeous ribbon!? I used the Tailored Tag punch to also punch out a piece of velum and basic black cardstock to layer behind the flowers. Layering is so much fun and adds so much dimension and detail to the card.

Stampin Up Wedding Card with the Cake Soiree stamp set

As you read this post, I am currently at the Stampin Up On Stage (mini convention) Event in Las Vegas, Nevada!

I won't be gone long and I'll be sure to share some fun pictures when I return. Check out my instagram and facebook pages in the meantime. (stampin with kjoyink) for some real time photos of the event.

Today I'm sharing another Cake Soiree stamp set card with matching Sweet Cake dies. This is such a pretty set with beautiful Sweet Soiree designer paper to match.

I matched the colors to the designer paper. I used flirty flamingo and powder pink cardstock as well as silver glimmer paper and a delicate white doily.

I colored the flowers with a blender pen, dipped in the lids of inkpads. The colors are flirty flamingo, sweet sugarplum and old olive. Can you see the shimmer on the flowers? Its the Wink of Stella brush. I brushed over the flowers with it, once I had them colored.

 I stamped "Best Wishes" in sweet sugarplum ink onto a piece of flirty flamingo cardstock, then punched it out with the Classic Label Punch.

I added a rich razzleberry Glitter Enamel Dot to the sweet flower topper. I think I use these dots on everything. They are just so pretty!

And there you have it. Another beautiful wedding card (or birthday card) for all those upcoming summer celebrations.

Stampin' Up Cake Soiree Wedding Card

I'm sharing the gorgeous Cake Soiree stamp set and framelit bundle with you today. I am using this set for my next Card Class and I wanted to play around with it a little.

I came up with this beautiful wedding card. I also designed the card we will make at class, and I will share that next week.

The Sweet Soiree designer paper is simply stunning. The colors are amazing and the paper has outlines of shimmery silver all through it.

I coordinated the inks and cardstock to match the Sweet Soiree designer paper. The cardstock colors are rich razzleberry and sweet sugarplum as well as whisper white. To color the flower on the cake I used the ink from the inkpads and dipped a blender pen in the ink that I squeezed onto the lid of the inkpad. I colored in the flowers with the blender pen. The leaves were colored with old olive and the flowers are sweet sugarplum and flirty flamingo.

I added some shimmer to the flowers with the Wink of Stella brush. It really shimmers in the light.

Its just so, so pretty in person. All the colors and shimmer are stunning. I left the greeting off of the front of the card and used the wedding wishes for inside. I used pink pirouette cardstock and rich razzleberry as well as old olive ink on the inside.

Its the perfect Wedding Card.

I'm excited about this set and coordinating framelits as well as the amazing Sweet Soiree designer paper. I just can't stop looking at it!

I added the beautiful berry burst metalic edge ribbon and an ombre Glitter enamel dot for texture and dimension.

I can't wait for the ladies at Card Class to use this set. I hope they love it as much as I do!
