Lined Alphabet/Layering Alphabet bundle

Fun Times! Its time for another Layered Alphabet card!

Its been awhile since I've posted a card made with my absolute favorite stamp set and dies of all time- the Lined Alphabet and Layering Alphabet dies.

This is so fun- literally! I used lots of bright, happy colors for a special birthday greeting.

IMG_2971

I used the new "In Colors" lovely lipstick, grapefruit grove, pineapple punch and call me clover as well as basic black. I also used the coordinating ribbon colors of lovely lipstick, grapefruit grove and call me clover. I simply tied the ribbon around the card and knotted it.

IMG_2970

The polka dotted paper is the In Color Designer paper pack- it also contains the blueberry bushel in color and the pack has several different patterns as well. I used the same color inks on the stamped letters and memento black for the greeting which was stamped with the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.

IMG_2969

The designer papers were all cut to 3.5 x 3.5 inches before die cutting. I also used the 3/4" circle punch for the & sign and attached it with a mini dimensional. Check out the video below to learn how to use the Layering Alphabet dies. This bundle should definitely be on your wish list soon!

Oh Baby- Its the Layered Alphabet once again!

So this time I've made an adorable baby card with the Layering Alphabet dies. I'm telling you, this set is great for any occasion at all!

I used the colors, petal pink, powder pink, blushing bride and flirty flamingo. All soft, pretty pinks for a baby girl.

IMG_3274

Each color was cut at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. The card is the same size in whisper white.

IMG_3275

The "congrats" is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and the little birdie and heart are from the Pick A Pennant stamp set. There are so many cute little stamps in both of these sets. Perfect to pair with the Layering Alphabet.

IMG_3273

It really is my most favorite stamp set of all time! So many fun cards and scrapbook pages just waiting to be created! And its pretty simple too. I hope you'll give it a try. Check out the video below on how to use this Layering Alphabet die.

There's Always Hope...

Its time for another Layering Alphabet card. I truly enjoy this stamp set and framelits bundle more and more each time I use it. You already know that this is my absolute favorite bundle in the new catalog and for good reason. Its so unique and so versitile!

I decided on the word hope, for this card. This brings back all the memories of pink cards of hope that I received a few years ago when I was sick and struggling.

I wanted to used many bright, happy shades of pink on this card as well as the beautiful Stitched Label Framelits- the heart to be specific. Love that cute little thing!

IMG_E3286

The colors I used are blushing bride, flirty flamingo, melon mambo and lovely lipstick. I also used some double sided Tear Tape to attach the pink metallic ribbon. I thought the ribbon was fitting, for a card like this.

IMG_E3287

All the colors of cardstock were cut at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 before die cutting. The whisper white card is the same size as well.

IMG_E3286

You don't have to be concerned about wasting the remainder of the cardstock, because it can always be used to make another card! This is the cardstock "negative" pieces that were left - and this is the extra card that I made with them.

IMG_3280

Oh my goodness... I loved being able to add a stitched heart in the middle of the "0". Plus, I added a strip of the gorgeous Garden Impressions designer series paper to the bottom of the card. (1 1/4") * Check out the designers series paper promotion going on this month. I have the special posted below.

IMG_3282

It makes me so happy that I can create two cards from one die cut letter.

IMG_E3284

I added a piece of lovely lipstick ribbon that I wrapped around the entire card and tied in a knot. The hearts are popped on with mini dimensionals. So sweet!

IMG_3291

I think this card would definitely cheer up anyone who really needs it.

IMG_E3288

Here they are- both made with the same pieces of 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 cardstock colors. I "hope" you like these sweet cards and "hope" you'll jump on the Layering and Lined Alphabet bandwagon someday soon. You won't regret it!

I have posted a Stampin Up video below, with instructions on using this bundle. It really is fairly simple and you'll catch on super quick, I promise!

Lined Alphabet - Thanks Friend

As you know, I'm obsessed with this Lined Alphabet set and coordinating Layering Alphabet dies. And for good reason! Its amazing, fun to create with and so incredibly unique!

I went for rainbow colors this time and created a special card for a friend.

The card is the standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" and each piece of cardstock is cut the same size as well.

IMG_2657

The colors are real red, mango melody, pineapple punch, granny apple green, pacific point, and glorious grape. I used the Stitched Label framelits for the little granny apple green heart, because those stitched hearts are just the cutest!

IMG_2661

The sentiment comes from the Varied Vases stamp set.  I just love the font in that set- its so fun- just like this card!

I used the Lined Alphabet stamps to stamp over the letters in the same colors as the cardstock for a tone on tone look.

IMG_2668

I finished it off with a tiny rhinestone jewel placed in the middle of the stitched heart. It just gives it that little bit of sparkle at the end of the rainbow.

IMG_2656

I can't say enough about this amazing bundle. I have a sweet baby card and more fun cards to share with this set, coming soon!

Thanks friend, for stopping by today.

Layering Alphabet in "Pinks"- Yay!

Pink is my absolute most favorite color, so I wanted to design a card made with the Layering Alphabet dies in various shades of pink.

I decided on a birthday card with the word "yay!" I had a lot of fun designing this card. It not only uses my favorite color, but it also has ribbons and sparkle too!

IMG_2667

The colors that I used on this card are lovely lipstick, melon mambo, flirty flamingo and petal pink, inks and cardstock. I also used basic black and whisper white cardstocks.

I love how it turned out!

IMG_2666

I cut each color of cardstock to a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece and then cut out the letters. I attached it to a basic black card measuring the same. To attach the Iridescent Sequins, I just dotted liquid multi purpose glue in the spots that I wanted to place the sequins. I then placed the sequins on top of the dollop of glue.

IMG_2662

The black satin ribbon is tied around the entire card, with a little white bakers twine bow tied on top and attached with a glue dot. I also used the mini black sequin trim to add some extra glimmer to the card.

You'll notice that the word "celebrate" is stamped on a cute little label. I die cut this with one of the dies in the new Stitched Label framelits set. The word, celebrate is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.

And there you have it! Another fabulous greeting card, made with the Lined Alphabet stamp set and Layering Alphabet framelit bundle.

Here's to our Dads and Grads! Its that time of year again...

So, as you know, I've been stamping with the Layering Alphabet a lot, lately. I have to admit, I'm totally and completely ADDICTED to it! Once I get it out, I keep thinking of more ideas and simply can't put it down.

I did a demonstration with this set at my last team meeting. The girls were fascinated with this alphabet set. Of course, there is nothing out there quite like it, thats for sure.

I thought it was the perfect set to celebrate dads and grads this month. I love how I can customize any card with the colors and words that I want.

IMG_2976

For this card, I used the colors, balmy blue, pacific point and blueberry bushel. I cut the 3 pieces into 3 1/2" squares and then cut the letters out of the squares. The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and a strip of designer paper from the new In Color paper pack.

IMG_2975

I also used the negative cut out pieces from those same 3 1/2" squares to make this card.

IMG_2972

I added some black Faceted Dots and 1/2" strips of Garden Impressions designer paper to frame the word "dad".

IMG_3039

I made this "grad" card with my kids highschool colors, which are also my daughters college colors- she went to the University of Pittsburgh.

IMG_E2838

Once again, I incorporated the In Color designer paper to spell out "grad". Blueberry Bushel and Pineapple Punch are the new In Colors used on this card. The greeting, "congrats"  is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.

IMG_2839

Again, I used the leftover pieces to form a second card. Two for one! These are what the cards originally looked like. The one below is the leftover pieces (negatives)

IMG_2840

But, I decided to gussy them up a little. For the first card, I stamped the outline of the letters, over top of the cut outs, in blueberry bushel ink. I added balloons that I punched out with the Balloon Bouquet punch.

IMG_2962

IMG_2964

Here's the second one.. the negative pieces and gussied up as well.

IMG_2967

IMG_2966

I drew the strings for the balloons with the blueberry bushel Stampin Write marker and the greeting is also from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.

IMG_3038

Well, I'm all prepared to celebrate our dads and grads this weekend. How about you?

I've got more Layering Alphabet cards to share, so stop back soon!

Until the next time...
