On Stage LIVE 2016- SLC

Stampin Up Sample Boards and More Peeks at the New Catalog

I know I said that I wrapped up my last post on the Stampin' Up! On Stage, Convention. But, this is all about the stamps, samples and creative ideas that were shared.

I have some cool scrapbook pages to share, that were made with Stampin' Up's Project Life kits and that were displayed on the many display boards at Convention. Plus, an adorable surprise at the end of my post.

I'll start with this cute spread...

Ok, so this is a teaser from the New Catalog... one of my favorite new sets, Baby Bear. I was able to give this set away, to some lucky demonstrators, as my prize patrol during my presentation. Too bad, I didn't get to keep one!

  IMG_8163

That's all for now, folks. I've got to work on my upcoming "Kim's Card Class" and also my Team Meeting and 2 workshops, coming up this week.... not to mention my son and my dads birthday parties!

Until the next time...

Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!

Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention- Wrapping it Up

One last post about my trip to SLC and the Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention.

There was so much to see and do over the 7 days that I was in SLC. So many friends to see and spend time with, so much to learn and many friends and accomplishments to celebrate.

First stop after I landed was a Diners Drive-Ins and Dives place called the Blue Plate Diner.

IMG_7582

It was early morning, so I had the Veggie Omlet- it was as big as my head!

IMG_7579

Next, it was off to the Salt Palace Convention Center for rehearsal and hanging with the SU staff backstage. It was so much fun and really helped me relax before my live presentation.

IMG_7592

Shelli Gardner- Co Founder of Stampin' Up! and Sara Douglass- CEO,  with Janna the fabulous make-up Artist, and Marlee their assistant, prepping backstage.

The night before the kick off of Convention, my friends, Cindy, Linda and I had a Premiere Kick Off Party to celebrate our teams. The theme was "Apple of My Eye" because our girls definitely are that!

Here they all are at our cute apple themed table.

Our demonstrators friends from Hawaii, are ready for the Opening Session of Convention. Don't Martha, Cindy and Zeny look awesome in their matching Hawaiian shirts?

It's so fun to get to see friends that we don't see often. This is our friend Dawn from Michigan.

It was a great black and white affair at the Grand America Hotel.

My presentation was the following morning.

Next was our Advisory Board Alumni Dinner at Gracies in SLC. I celebrated with my Advisory Board sisters from both years that I served, and all of the other Alumni over the past 25 years.

Stampin Up On Stage Convention Part 3- Apple of My Eye Party Swaps

During my visit to SLC for the On Stage Stampin Up! Convention, I participated in a couple of swaps.

We had a "Premiere Party" for our teams before the kick off of Convention began to celebrate and thank our team members.

I posted some pictures the other day of the "Apple of My Eye" theme that we used for our party.

Now, I would like to share a few swaps that were made. Of course we used the "Apple of My Eye" stamp set as the swap theme. This set is just adorable - AND it will be retiring soon, so if you have had your "eye" on this one, get it soon!

Check out the awesome swaps created by our talented team members. All cards were made with the "Apple of My Eye" stamp set. Such a great variety!

I am going to post a few of the swaps. Here's a pile of them:

IMG_8543

This cute lemon card was made by : Alyssa Trunzo. Alyssa used dazzling diamonds glitter to sparkle up the lemon and the softly falling emboss folder to give this card texture.

IMG_8548

This beautiful citrus card was made by : Raelene Ellenberger. Raelene used hello honey and mossy meadow inks along with the circle framelits dies and some silver thread and striped hello honey ribbon. She also used the decorative dots emboss folder and the heart punch from itty bitty accents punch pack to give this card some dimension.

IMG_8545

This vibrant gem was made by: Kristi Kildoo- see her blog here

Kristi used tangerine tango ink and the clear wink of stella pen on the oranges, then she covered them with crystal effects. Yum.

IMG_8538

This adorable "out of the box" card was made by: Zeny Lucey

Zeny used the Love Blossoms designer paper and a variety of circle punches on this card.

IMG_8541

How cute is this apple shaped card made by: Cindy Baughman? Visit her blog here

Cindy used the deco label framelits for the shape of the apple.

IMG_8544
I made this vibrant card with tangelo twist, hello honey, real red and mossy meadow inks and cardstocks, and added a strip of striped cotton ribbon in tangelo twist.

IMG_8542

This refreshing lemonade card was made by Sheryl Wheatley. Sheryl used the uber cool bokeh technique, some velum and striped designer paper to make this darling card.

IMG_8540

This cute basket of apples was made by Cindy T. She used the Berry Basket die to form the basket and the Farmers Market designer series paper for the background.

  IMG_8539

Check out this cool Envelope Card made by Linda Bauwin. See her blog here.

Linda also used real red and garden green cardstock, along with the Elegant Dots emboss folder.

IMG_8546

A bright and shiny card made by Kathy Sullivan. Kathy used clear emboss powder to make the fruits look juicy. Looks good enough to eat!

IMG_8547

Wow, its amazing how many card ideas can come from ONE stamp set. The possibilities are endless. If you don't have this set, you may want to get it before it retires!

I hope you enjoyed these cards as much as I did. These ladies are super talented and so creative!

Until the next time...

On Stage 2016 Fun in Salt Lake City!

Hello, from SLC! Having a fabulous time here. I wanted to share some highlights with you before I head home.

We have had such a great time and it has been a great experience for me this year. As I mentioned, I was asked to present at the Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention this year, and I was a bit nervous, as I haven't presented in many years. Sara Douglas- CEO of Stampin' Up! did tell me that it was just like "riding a bike." I'm not sure it was that easy to get adjusted to again, but with the support and encouragement of my friends, family, downline and Stampin' Up!, I managed. Thank you all for believing in me!

So, until I get home and can post some samples, here are a few highlights from my trip. This is a sampler made with the "A Nice Cuppa" stamp set that our friend Missy Shipman sent to us when we arrived in SLC. She couldn't attend, but was sweet enough to send us this awesome gift. Thanks so much Missy- you rock!

Where Have I Been?

So, I know I've been MIA. But, there is a good reason. I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah attending the Stampin' Up! On Stage Convention with some of my downline.

Not, only am I attending, but I have been asked to do a Business Presentation along with a Stamping Demonstration- Live on stage! So, for the past week I have been finalizing my presentation and graphics and stamping projects to get ready for the big day.

I was in rehearsal all day today with the Stampin' Up! staff and it was so much fun. We were suppose to film a video too, but the camera broke ( no, I didn't break it... I don't think I did anyway) so I have to go back tomorrow and finishing taping. Convention doesn't begin until Thursday and my live presentation is on Friday, so luckily Wednesday was a free day anyway.

I'm going to try to post some photos while I'm here- BUT we are not permitted to show photos of the new products or of the new catalog yet. But, I have to say- I received my copy today and it is A MAZE ING!!!!! So many new products- 377 to be exact.

So, thanks for understanding my absence, its been a whirlwind week- and I had to fly out early too- so It put me a little behind.

Here's a quick photo of the behind the scenes fun..
