Peaceful Reflection in Pink
June 27, 2018
I have another Peaceful Reflection card to share with you today. This is the stamp set that can be used to make a reflection in the water, by flipping the actual photopolymer stamp over on the block and stamping with it.
I used petal pink, and shaded spruce cardstock as well as lemon lime twist, petal pink, shaded spruce, lovely lipstick an balmy blue inks. For the splatter, I dipped an aqua painter in a puddle of lemon lime twist ink, and flicked it over the cardstock.
As I mentioned, I did the reflection with the same stamps that I stamped the green plants in, only I flipped them over on the acrylic block to the flat side of the stamp. I did stamp off first with the balmy blue ink, before stamping the reflection. ( stamping off: ink stamp, then stamp on scratch paper right before stamping on the card for a softer color)
For the layered background, I attached a 5 1/4 x 4" piece of petal pink at an angle to the front of the card.
Then, I turned the card over trimmed off the over-hang pieces.
I scattered a few of the Share What You Love pearls around the card and added a greeting on an oval Stitched Shape framelit.
I love pinks and greens and was surprised how well the various shades meshed together so well on this card.
Its effortless to make reflections with this super cool stamp set. I hope you decide to give it a try.
Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Until the next time...
Keep on Stampin and Come back again soon!
