Stampin Up On Stage Las Vegas 2018

Stampin Up Rooted in Nature- I almost forgot!

This is a card that we made during my trip to Las Vegas for the Stampin Up On Stage convention event.

How did I forget to post this? Its one of my favorite cards made with the Rooted in Nature bundle.

I love all the layers, the layout and the embellishments on this greeting card. The Natures Poem designer series paper looks amazing in the two patterns that were used here. By the way- beginning July 1st thru July 31st, there is a Designer Paper Promotion- buy 3 get one free! Be sure to stock up on your favorites this month.

The Leave Trinkets and the Natures Twine give this a wonderfully rustic look. Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron leaves are cut with the coordinating Natures Roots framelits. All situated on a lovely soft suede card base and stamped with something "wonderful".

Thanks so much for checking in today.

Until the next time..

Stampin Up In Vegas, Part 2: Plus a few Sneak Peeks!

I left off with our fun make up session at Sephora in Las Vegas. It was perfect, because from there I was ready to attend the special Centre Stage event for Stampin' Up Leaders.

It was an 80's theme. I didn't dress up because of packing restraints, but all the SU employees did and some of the demonstrators.

Arent they adorable?

IMG_1424

Thats Brandi above and below, from SU demonstrator training and my friend Robyn- who both look totally rad in their 80's garb.

IMG_1452

It was a fun night of training, dinner, gifts and getting the new Catalog!

IMG_1421

The next day was the main Stampin Up On Stage event. Lots more training, making new friends and stamping of course!

IMG_1453

Stampin Up is also celebrating their 30 year Anniversary this year, so there were lots of fun surprises in store.

IMG_1369

It just so happens to be my 20 year Anniversary as well! This is me on stage for my 20 year anniversary recognition.

This is Raelene and I in front of the beautiful SU backdrop. This is Stampin' Up's new branding/logo. Aren't those flowers and colors beautiful?

Stampin Up events are always so inspiring and tons of fun. We ended our trip by visiting some of the amazing Las Vegas hotels on the strip.

The Bellagio

The Bellagio Fountains with Ballys and the High Roller ferris wheel in the background. The High Roller is a huge ferris wheel- each car holds up to 40 people! It takes 1/2 hour to go the whole way around.

The Lobby of the Bellagio. The beautiful flowers on the ceiling are Chihuly glass.

IMG_1639

The Fashion Show Mall. Of course we had to do a little shopping while we were there.

Paris

Ok, one more sneak peek. This is one of the stamp sets we got in our convention bags. Don't you just love it?

IMG_1533

And on our last day... this is what we did... ahhhh... a perfect end to a perfect trip!

Hope you enjoyed the fun "sneak peeks" and a little of what goes on at an SU event.
