I'm going to share a pretty simple Valentine, (love, wedding or anniversary) card with you today. There's not much stamping going on, just some simple die cuts and folds.
I used the Sweet and Sassy heart framelit dies, the Diagonal Stripe Background stamp, berry burst metalic edge ribbon, sweet sugarplum cardstock, powder pink cardstock and rich razzleberry ink for this 3 dimensional valentine.
This is the card from the top, looking down on it.
And here it is from the side.
I cut 8 of the largest hearts in the Sweet and Sassy framelit set. And then scored them down the middle with the Simply Scored tool. This photo shows 3 of the 8 hearts.
Next, I attached them back to back on only one side of the heart.
I did this with all 8 hearts.
The back will end up like this. This will be what you will adhere to the card. NOTE: the hearts in these photos are smaller than the hearts on the card. But still the same technique was used.
This is what the front of all the hearts looks like, once you have all 8 attached to each other.
After you attach the 3 D heart to the front of the card- fluff it out. The hearts actually lay flat inside an envelope and pop up once taken out of the envelope, so its easy to send in the mail!
I hope you give this 3 D pop up a try. It really is simple, but packs a punch!
Thanks for visiting today.
Until the next time...
Keep on Stampin' and Come back again soon!
